We are back to the injury riddled madness that we will always remember the 2021 NBA season for. A few teams are going into tonight missing their star players and we have a ton of value available. Our strategy for tonight includes targeting the Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers, as they are both missing multiple key players. We have prepared a balanced lineup for tonight as there are a ton of great midrange plays. A lot of guys will be first or second options in the $5000-8000 range tonight, and we have a lineup full of high upside plays.

Here’s a balanced lineup For DFS Basketball 3/11/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardK. Lowry $8,600
Shooting GuardS. Milton $5,300
Small Forward  $6,700
Power Forward  $8,100
CenterT. Bradley $3,300
GuardN. Powell $7,200
Forward  $4,300
Utility         $6,500

Kyle Lowry is a little more expensive than usual tonight at $8,600. However, the Raptors are missing Fred VanVleetPascal Siakam and OG Anunoby. Lowry took on a huge role last game and we should see something similar tonight. Lowry broke the Raptors franchise assist record last game while getting up 18 shots of his own. Expect Lowry to take over tonight as he will be the dominant facilitator once again. Lowry works well in our midrange lineup as our most expensive play, and it is not hard for us to pay up for him. With a great matchup against the Hawks, Lowry has upside for a crazy stat line here.

Other then the Toronto Raptors, the Philadelphia 76ers will be our best source of value tonight. The Sixers are missing their leading stars Joel Embiid and Ben Simmonsand there will be a ton of usage and minutes to go around. Shake Milton has taken a huge role without Simmons before, and they will need his scoring without Embiid. Milton is only $5,300 tonight, which does not really account for his upside. If Milton has a good shooting night tonight, he will absolutely break the slate.

With Embiid sidelined tonight there will be a ton of extra front court minutes for the sixers. Tony Bradley is only $3.300 tonight and is a player with terrible median production. However, Bradley will likely play solid minutes tonight and has consistently scored over 20 FPTS in games without Embiid. Bradley is the only value play we need to roster with our midrange squad, and he has a great floor for the price. Bradley may start tonight but he is a great budget play regardless of if he starts or comes off the bench.

Any ball handling not down by Kyle Lowry for the Raptors tonight, will be done by Norman Powell. Powell has been having a great season and has done especially well in the few games since the Raptors got hit with covid protocols. Powell is averaging 42.6 FPTs over the two games since Toronto has had the injuries and has a great matchup tonight. At $7,200, Powell is too cheap and fits perfectly into a balanced lineup. Powell has some huge upside, and it is hard to think of many Raptors taking over besides him and Lowry.

Now what do you get if you sign up now?
• A few midrange stars who you look great tonight.
• More plays from Toronto and Philadelphia
• Different options to prepare for breaking news.

Anthony Edwards – SF (6,700 DK) Minnesota is missing four guards tonight and the minutes are super solid for Edwards. Edwards has shot the ball at least 20 times in each of his last five game and has shown monster upside. If Edwards gets hot, he will be an absolute must on any slate due to the immense usage he gets. Expect Edwards to get even more minutes and usage then usual tonight with all the injuries. The Pelicans have weak wing defenders and Edwards can definitely blow up in this spot. Edwards is a great tournament play with his upside and is perfectly priced for a midrange build.

Tobias Harris – PF ($8.100 DK) Harris will likely be the highest owned player on the slate today and this is not where you want to get different. Harris is in line to completely take over with Embiid and Simmons out of the mix, as he is the only strong player left on the squad. Harris has massive upside today and he will have enough ownership to be a must play. Harris has showed great upside lately, and tonight should be one of his better games of the season. Matched up with Chicago, it is hard not to think Harris will crush tonight.

Sterling Brown – F ($4,300 DK) Brown has played mid 30’s minutes the last two games and is usually a decent per minute producer. The Rockets are missing a few wings tonight which should solidify the minutes for Brown. Brown will probably go overlooked here for more obvious value plays, but he has some great upside. If Brown has a solid shooting night, he will be one of the best value plays on the slate.

Chris Boucher– Util ($6,500 DK) Boucher should continue to get a boost with the missing Raptors. Boucher scored over 38 FPTS last game and has a great matchup tonight. Boucher had a career performance last game against the Hawks, and we like him in the same spot tonight. Boucher will likely have to take on a large scoring load tonight, and he is too cheap for his upside on the floor. Boucher is a dynamic fantasy producer and will crush value if the Raptors use him heavily tonight.

Alternative Moves…

Kelly Olynyk– PF/C ($5,100 DK) Olynyk was dominant in the last game without Bam Adebayoand Adebayo will be absent again tonight. Olynyk should play solid minutes and do a little extra for Miami tonight. Olynyk is a little too cheap for the role he should have tonight, and he fits pretty easily into different builds.

Good luck everyone, have fun with this one and make sure to track the news.
