We have a lot to talk about for tonight’s two game NBA slate, as there a few interesting situations going into tonight. Once again, we are all over the Brooklyn Nets. We already know that James Harden will be out again tonight, so there is still a lot of opportunity for the Nets guys. There are a lot of studs on this two – gamer, and it is going to be tough deciding who we must leave out. With that said, we are going with a stars and scrubs build here so we can squeeze in as many of our studs as possible. We also have a lot of strong value options tonight, so a top-heavy lineup should work well.

Here’s a stars and scrubs lineup For DFS Basketball 6/10/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardM. James $3,900
Shooting GuardP. George $8,500
Small ForwardK. Durant $10,600
Power ForwardB. Griffin $4,800
Center
Guard
Forward $11,100
Utility

With Harden out again for tonight, we are going straight back to Mike James for value. James has been the biggest beneficiary of Hardens minutes over the past two games, as he has played 30 and 24 minutes, respectively. We are still getting James at a cheap $3,800 here, which makes him a fantastic budget option considering the minutes he is playing. James has scored 26.25 and 21.25 FPTS in his last two games, without great shooting or a lot of defensive stats. We must assume James is to see sold run again tonight, and we only need around 20 FPTS from him here to fit into our lineup.

Noone ever respects Paul George. One subpar game from George and he is back to being drastically underpriced. $8,500 is a fantastic price point to be paying on George, as he has been putting out some great production ove3r a lot of minutes throughout the playoffs. George went for 37.5 FPTS last game on dreadful shooting, as he only shot 23 percent from the floor. George has scored over 50 FPTS in the other three of his past four games, even in games he is not shooting well. George is seeing a lot of floor time over the playoffs due to the Clippers lack of depth and we expect a lot of minutes from him tonight. The Clippers must win here to avoid falling into another hole, so we expect to see big minutes for there studs. Kawhi Leonard is the better DFS producer compared to George, but George has a lot more upside given the $1,100 in savings. If George manages to have a good shooting night, he will smash this entire slate.

Harden’s absence for tonight means we going to be interested in rostering Nets guys again. Kevin Durant is one of our favorite stars to pay up for tonight, as he has massive upside offensively without Harden. The last game between these squads blew out, so we only saw 32.5 minutes from Durant. Regardless, he managed to drop 50.5 FPTS in that time. Durant has been taking massive usage all playoffs and he needs to take even more shots with Harden off the floor. Durant can easily go for over 60 FPTS and if this game stays close we expect him to smash here.

Blake Griffin is another of our favorite value options coming from the Brooklyn Nets tonight. Griffin did not play too many minutes last time, as we expect him to be rested liberally in a blowout. Griffin shocked everyone with his 46 FPTS in 35 minutes in game one, and we do think he is going to have to play some serious minutes here. The Bucks are a big team and Griffin is the closest thing the Nets have to a competent center, if it stays close we expect to see him play around 30 minutes here. Griffin is still a decent per minute producer so if that is the case he is a fantastic play at only $4,800.

Now what do you get if you sign up now?
• A cheap big man who should be in for solid floor time

Ivica Zubac – C ($3,600 DK)The Clippers went small against the Mavericks, which led to Zubac playing next to no minutes for a few games. That has caused Zubac’s price to fall dramatically coming into this series. However, it looks like the Clippers are predictably going bigger against the Jazz, so we expect to see Zubac play at least 20 minutes a game here. Zubac went for 29 FPTS in 20.3 minutes last game, which would be fantastic production at this price tag. Zubac looks solid here as he should be able to hit nice value if he is in the rotation.

Rajon Rondo – G ($3,500 DK) Rondo was not getting a ton of minutes in the Dallas series, but we saw him get the role we expect from him in game one against the Jazz. We expect to see Rondo play a significant role for the Clippers in the playoffs, as they severely lack guard options. We saw Rondo play 28 minutes last game, and he went for 19.75 FPTS. We expect him to be more productive in that many minutes, and he should be able to hit value here pretty easily if he is to play around 25 or more minutes tonight.

Giannis Antetokounmpo – F ($11,100 DK) The Bucks absolutely must win tonight to avoid a 0-3 hole against the Nets. We expect to see all the Milwaukee studs playing massive minutes tonight, starting with Antetokounmpo. Antetokounmpo averages more FPTS then anyone else available tonight, so he is always going to be a consideration. We still expect to see a massive game or two from Antetokounmpo against this Nets team, as they really do not have the personnel to defend him inside. Antetokounmpo has fantastic upside, and we really like having him and Durant for if this stays close.

Bryn Forbes – Util ($4,100 DK) Forbes is a punt play here, as he has a pretty low floor. However, we do expect him to continue starting here and he has some solid upside if his shots are falling. The price tag here allows us to roster all our studs tonight, and we do not need to much from him. With that said, Forbes is our least favorite of the value plays we have mentioned for tonight.

Here’s a stars and scrubs lineup For DFS Basketball 6/10/21 (using FanDuel Values)

Point GuardM. James $4,800
Point GuardR. Rondo $4,300
Shooting GuardP. George $9,200
Shooting GuardB. Forbes $3,900
Small ForwardK. Durant $10,700
Small ForwardJ. Harris $5,200
Power ForwardG. Antetokounmpo $11,300
Power ForwardB. Griffin $5,500
CenterI. Zubac $5,000

Joe Harris – SG (5,200 FD) Harris is always more of a tournament play for us, as he brings a lot of variance in his production. Most of what Harris is doing on the court is launching three’s, so he always has nice upside if he can have a good shooting night. With Harden out, we expect Harris to see a lot of floor time and take a solid number of shots. If he gets hot tonight he should be a fantastic value here.
