12 games and loads of value to breakdown today. Do not expect to cash with a score short 350 FPTS on this slate. There are drastically underpriced players to target for tonight’s ten game contest. I will be prioritizing midrange lineups, as many stars have middling price tags.

Here’s a midrange lineup For DFS Basketball 1/29/21 (using DraftKings Values)

      PG     B. Simmons                              $7,700 (DK)

      SG      __________                                $3,400 (DK)

      SF     G. Hayward                                $7,000 (DK)

      PF      __________                                 $7,300 (DK)

      C     C. Zeller                                       $4,000 (DK)

      G      __________                                  $6,100 (DK)

      F      __________                                   $6,800 (DK)

      Util   R. Gobert                                   $7,500 (DK)

Ben Simmons is grossly priced tonight at $7,700. Simmons scored 53.8 FPTS in his last outing and is averaging over 40 FPTS on the season. Minnesota has the worst defense in the NBA and are top five in pace. Simmons has one of his lowest tags of the season with the best possible matchup, making him a core play for tonight.

You may notice a theme today of vastly underpriced stars. Gordon Hayward leads the pack at $7,000. Hayward has been priced to mediocrity after a single subpar game, to the point that he is a lock for today. Hayward is averaging over 43 FPTS over the last ten days and has shown big games on a routine basis. Today is the lowest tag we have seen on Hayward for over ten days, despite relatively strong play.

If you are playing midrange today you will not need a ton of value, however you will want some cheap plays to pay up elsewhere. Cody Zeller is in a great spot tonight and it is a good opportunity to buy him low. Zeller was reinstated as the starting center last game after coming off an injury. Zeller scored 37 FPTS in the starting spot and played 30 minutes. If Zeller has a similar role today, he will prove to be massively underpriced tonight.

Death, Taxes and Rudy Gobert going comically underpriced on DraftKings. Gobert scored 68 FPTS in his last contest, yet he is still priced at $7,500 on DK. Gobert is once again priced for a complete floor game, he has only scored under 35 FPTS once in the last ten days. Gobert fits perfectly into the midrange style which we are targeting for today. Gobert played 37 minutes last game and has the same matchup with Dallas today, who do not have strong centers. Gobert is another core for me today as his price prompts almost no risk.

Now what do you get if you sign up now?
• The biggest price anomaly of the week

• The best Midrange options to fill your lineup
• Different spend up options if you are playing studs and duds

Theo Maledon– SG ($3,400 DK) Maledon has gotten the start the last few games and should continue to do so today. In his last game Maledon scored 24 FPTS and played 30 minutes. Maledon is not a thrilling play, however he is in a great spot to hit value today. Maledon should continue to receive big minutes and will be a great play if he gets the same role as last game.

Pascal Siakam – PF ($7,300 DK) I love targeting my Raptors tonight in an ideal matchup with Sacramento. Siakam is priced light tonight at $7,300 and matches up great with the forwards on Sacramento. Siakam will likely draw lower ownership as he has had some low production games recently. However, those games were against Miami and Milwaukee, two top defensive squads. Tonight, Siakam is against a docile Kings defense and is primed for a massive outing.

Dejounte Murray – G ($6,100 DK) Three games ago Murray only played one minute due to injury. I believe this may have caused DraftKings to place Murray in the wrong price range. There is no reason for a $6,100 tag in this spot and Murray is an absolute lock today. Murray is averaging 35 FPTS on the season and has not scored under 30 FPTS in his last seven healthy outings. If Murray can hit near medium production tonight, he will be a great play at this tag.

DeMar DeRozan – F ($6,800 DK) No one asked but DeRozan is my favorite player in the NBA. Bias aside, DeRozan is in a great spot tonight with this price tag. DeRozan is averaging 40 FPTS on the season and has shown huge upside. This is the lowest price tag we have seen on DeRozan so far this season and will probably be the smallest tag we see all year,

Alternative Moves…

Trae Young – G ($9,100 DK) Young has been on fire lately and his price has not moved. Young has scored over 50 FPTS in each of the last six contests. Young is underpriced for his recent production, a 50 FPT night would be great at this price. If you are playing stars and scrubs tonight Young is my favorite spend up at the guard spot.

Nikola Jokic – C ($10,100 DK) Jokic emerged early as this season’s golden goose for NBA DFS. Jokic is averaging nearly 60 FPTS on the year, which leads all NBA players. Jokic is coming off two mediocre outings and has seen his price fall. $10,100 is not a lot to pay for the top producer in the league, especially with an easier matchup today against the Spurs.

Make some money tonight and remember to check for lineup news.
