Another huge slate today for the NBA. Tonight, we have ten teams and lots of plays to choose from. I will be targeting players who have been playing well and are underpriced on DraftKings. This is a great slate to build a stars and scrubs lineup, as multiple superstars play today and there is decent value to be found.

Here’s a stars and scrubs lineup For DFS Basketball 1/25/21 (using DraftKings Values)

        PG     D. Murray                                  $6,500 (DK)

        SG      __________                               $3,800 (DK)

        SF     G. Hayward                               $7,300 (DK)

        PF     I. Roby                                       $4,600 (DK)

        C        __________                               $8,700 (DK)

        G         __________                              $6,200 (DK)

        F      __________                                 $4,300 (DK)

        Util   B. Adebayo                              $8,500 (DK)

There is no good reason for Dejounte Murray to have his lowest price tag of the entire season at $6,500. Murray is coming off a 46.25 FPT performance and is averaging just under 35 FPTS on the season. Murray has scored well over 35 FPTS in each of his last five games. At this price, Murray is hitting good value if he can score in the mid 30’s, which has been his medium production recently.

Gordon Hayward dropped 57.25 FPTS on the Magic yesterday, yet his price has been dropped today for the exact same matchup. $7,300 is an absolute steal given Hayward is averaging 48.5 FPTS over the last ten days and just exploded in this same matchup. To find Hayward in the midrange price tier today comes as a real shock, he is a definite lock at the forward spot for me.

In the continued absence of Al HorfordIsaiah Roby will continue to start at center for Oklahoma City. He is not priced for this position at $4,600 and PF eligibility makes him easy to fit in your lineup. Roby is averaging over 26 FPTS through his last ten days, scoring 30.5 FPTS in his last outing. Roby has a good matchup tonight against Portland who play weak defensive centers. If Roby continues his level of production in the starting role, he should easily break value tonight.

Bam Adebayo is coming off a career night last game against the nets. Bam compiled a monstrous 62.8 FPTS, on the back of 41 real life points. Brooklyn is proving to be the league’s worst rebounding team and is incapable of preventing opposing centers from scoring. Adebayo should be able to impose his will against this defense and is still priced at $8,500. Adebayo should be closer to $10,000 considering the injuries for Miami and is another core play for me on this slate.

Now what do you get if you sign up now?
• Value plays necessary to play Stars and Scrub

• A spend up option with a great floor for Cash games.
• Different plays to differentiate your GPP’s

Devin Vassell – SG ($3,800 DK) Vassell has been playing very well lately, yet his price has hardly moved. The rookie is averaging 22.9 FPTS over the last ten days and scored over 28 FPTS last game. Vassell has scored north of 20 FPTS in five of the six last outings. If Vassell can keep up this level of production, he should easily hit value at this tag.

Nikola Vucevic – C ($8,700 DK) Vucevic has no business on the southern side of $9,000. Vucevic is averaging 49.1 FPTS over the last ten days and should continue the tear in an easy match up with Charlotte. Vucevic has scored over 45 FPTS in eight of his last nine games. The floor is great at this price and Vucetic has also shown 70 FPT upside.

Goran Dragic – G ($6,200 DK) – Dragic will continue to take the starting spot on a depleted Heat team. So far in this spot we have seen Dragic score around 30 FPTS in multiple floor games. If Dragic can get hot he has massive upside with all this usage. He is underpriced for the massive role he should be playing for this team. Dragic has played over 30 minutes the last five games, that is more than enough time to hit value as the Heat’s primary ball handler.

Derrick Jones Jr. – F ($4,300 DK) The Trailblazers remain undermanned in todays contest, making Jones a great value play at this price. Jones is averaging over 30 FPTS through his last ten days and has scored over 20 FPTS in each of those. Jones has a high floor in this spot and great upside if he has a good shooting night.

Alternative Moves…

Nikola Jokic – C ($10,800 DK) Like usual, Jokic must be mentioned. There really is no reason for Jokic to be under $11,000. He is averaging almost 65 FPTS over the last ten days and has scored over 60 FPTS in five of his last six outings. Jokic has mid 60’ s medium production and that makes him a strong play until his price rises past $12,000.

Damian Lillard – PG ($10,300 DKExpect Lillard to continue to get monster usage on a depleted Portland squad. Scoring over 60 FPTS in his last outing, Lillard is averaging 51.3 FPTS through the last ten days. Lillard has massive upside and can have a game that breaks the slate even at this price.

Thaddeus Young – PF ($4,500 DK) Chicago is still playing slightly undermanned and Young has seen no rise in price. Young is the only cheap value for Chicago and can hit 30 FPTS easily in this spot. Young is a great piece to fill out your lineup if you have an empty forward spot.

Good luck everyone, great slate tonight for NBA DFS!
