It feels like we have big slates every day this season, we have got another nine-game contest tonight. The key for this slate is going to be watching the news before lock, as a lot of players have questionable tags. Regardless, we have put together a lineup of great plays and we will lay out a few pivots if some guys are ruled out. We will be going midrange today as there is not a lot of cheap value on this slate.

Here’s a balanced lineup For DFS Basketball 2/6/21 (using DraftKings Values)

      PG     D. Wright                                   $5,500 (DK)

      SG      __________                                $5,900 (DK)

      SF     D. Bazley                                   $6,100 (DK)

      PF      __________                                $7,200 (DK)

      C     N. Vucevic                                  $8,900 (DK)

      G      __________                                 $3,500 (DK)

      F      __________                                 $6,600 (DK)

      Util   D. Cousins                               $6,300 (DK)

Delon Wright is the only healthy point guard left standing for the Pistons. Wright should get massive minutes along with the start today and his price has dropped to $5,500. Wright has shown huge upside this season when the opportunity is there, and it will be tonight. If Wright plays over 30 minutes tonight, he should crush his price tag.

As of now Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is questionable but it looks like he will probably not play. If that is the case Darius Bazley is still a core play at $6,100. Bazley has massive usage without Gilgeous-Alexander and has played mid 30’s minutes. Bazley scored over 40 FPTS in this spot against Houston and did not even shoot well. Bazley shot 28 percent last game and still almost hit value at this price. Bazley has upside to break the slate if the Thunder remain gutted tonight.

Nikola Vucevic was one of our core plays yesterday and he had a career night. Vucevic scored 77.8 FPTS last game and looks to the same matchup against the Bulls. Vucevic has a dream matchup with Chicago and is in position to dominate again tonight. Vucevic has seen his price rise to $8,900, which is not nearly enough for a 47.7 FPPG producer.

Christian Wood has already been listed out for tonight’s game against the Spurs. DeMarcus Cousins has been a lock every game without Wood and that continues tonight. Cousins consistently drops massive games when Wood sits, with multiple games over 50 FPTS. Cousins price has risen proactively to $6,300, which does not cover his production in this spot.

Now what do you get if you sign up now?
• A cheap value play with a big role tonight

More midrange plays with huge opportunities
• Different pivots for when news breaks

Hamidou Diallo – SG ($5,900 DK) Diallo is another play who you will want to pivot away from if the Thunder are fully healthy. However, it is looking like Diallo will likely have to take another huge role tonight. Diallo played 37 minutes last game in the starting spot for the thunder. Diallo has been a high usage player in the past and we have not yet seen a ceiling game from him in this spot. With a great matchup against Minnesota, Diallo is another lock for tonight if the Thunder players remain out.

DeMar DeRozan – PF ($7,200 DK) As long as DraftKings continues to painfully underprice DeRozan, we will keep rostering him. DeRozan scored 48 FPTS in his last outing yet his price remains low. Tonight, the spurs have a great matchup with the Rockets who are helpless against scorers of DeRozan’s pedigree. DeRozan should get extra usage tonight in the absence of LaMarcus AldridgeDeRozan has dominated without Aldridge in the past, making him a lock for midrange builds tonight.

Bruce Brown – G ($7,900 DK) As of now, Brown is the go-to value play for this slate. The Nets will be playing without Kevin Durant, which should open up a big role for Brown. Brown scored 25 FPTS in his last game and should be able to repeat that with the increased role tonight. Brown allows you to pay up for more exiting plays and has a great floor for his price.

Thaddeus Young – F ($6,600 DK) Frankly, this tag looks like too much for Young. However, Young has hit value at $6,600 in each of his last five games. Furthermore, Young should see his biggest role tonight, with the injury to Lauri MarkkanenYoung will most likely get the start today and is lined up for another big game.

Alternative Moves…

Pascal Siakam – C ($7,700 DK) Siakam is coming off of a 65.3 FPT performance last night and has another great matchup against the Hawks. Siakam is a great pivot if injury news eliminates some of our core players. Siakam is averaging 40 FPTS on the season and 43.6 in the last ten days. A good price and matchup make Siakam a great play tonight.

James Harden – G ($10,700 DK) We are still waiting on news, but Harden may be the only healthy star tonight for Brooklyn. If that is the case, he becomes a great play tonight as he should take on huge usage. Harden has shown he has slate breaking upside when his costars are out, which may be the case tonight.

Another big news day today, good luck everyone and have some fun with this one.
