We have a great six game slate on DraftKings tonight. A slew of our favorite studs will be taking the floor tonight, and a few of them are underpriced. Our strategy tonight revolves around targeting a stars and scrubs lineup, so we can feature a few of our top tier spend up options. We have been playing stars and scrubs a lot lately, that is because we have a lot of value to pay up with this season. We will continue to highlight some plays that exploit the injury news we have already got for the day.

Here’s a stars and scrubs lineup For DFS Basketball 2/25/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardI. Quickley $4,100
Shooting GuardD. Rose  $4,600
Small Forward  $3,800
Power ForwardZ. Nnaji $3,200
CenterN. Jokic $10,400
Guard  $9,200
Forward  $4,600
Utility         $9.900

Elfrid Payton has been listed as doubtful for tonight’s game, we are assuming that he will not play tonight. If Payton does not play, Immanuel Quickleyis likely to get the start and is a great value option tonight. Quickley is typically limited in floor time, however he should be first in line to pick up Payton’s minutes. Quickley is only $4,100 tonight and has shown serious upside in the past when he had the opportunity. Quickley allows us to pay up elsewhere and will be a core play if he gets the start tonight.

Derrick Rose is another Knicks Guard who should be in line for another nice minute’s boost tonight. Rose is an effective fantasy producer when he is on the court and is only $4,600 tonight. Rose managed to score 37.5 FPTS in 27 minutes last game and should get more run tonight. Rose was marginally more expensive coming off the bench for the Pistons. Rose is another smash play if Payton is out.

We have a limited number of value options to pay up for our studs tonight. Zeke Nnaji is a little too cheap at $3.200, as he has been playing solid floor time. Nnaji is not a player with a huge ceiling but his price allows us to play three superstars. Furthermore, Nnaji has been playing good minutes the past two games without there usual forwards. Expect Nnaji to continue to get solid minutes tonight and he should be a solid value for the price.

Nikola Jokic priced at only $10,400 certainly raises an eyebrow. We have mentioned in the past that Jokic has been the top DFS producer in the NBA so far this season as he is averaging 59 FPTS per game. Jokic has one of the best matchups possible tonight against the Wizards, which makes him a lock at this price point. Jokic has dominated the Wizards in the past and it is fair to expect another monster performance against there pitiful frontcourt defense.

Now what do you get if you sign up now?
• A value play with some serious upside
• The rest of our core pay up options
• Different pivots to prepare for breaking news

Justise Winslow – SF ($3,800 DK) Winslow is an interesting budget option tonight as he has huge upside. Winslow has been getting massive usage since he came back from injury. Winslow has shot terribly in the past two games; however, he has still hit ok value for this price. He shot 1-10 last game and would of crushed value with a decent shooting performance. Winslow is a great tournament play tonight as he has great upside at near minimum price.

Bradley Beal – G ($9,200 DK) Beal is about $1000 too cheap tonight which is why he is in our core lineup. Beal has been averaging well over 50 FPTS over the last ten days and is averaging 50 FPTS on the season. Beal has a solid matchup tonight against the Nuggets who are not known for there defense. Beal is leading the NBA in real points and has that monster upside. This is a great chance to play Beal before his price rises back to where it should be.

Bruce Brown – F ($4,600 DK) Brown is coming off a career night as he scored a surprising 40 FPTS last match. Do not expect that kind of production from him again tonight, but he should still be getting a nice boost. The Nets will still be missing multiple forwards tonight and Brown will likely have to play big minutes. Brown has some serious upside as he showed yesterday. We expect Brown gets enough minutes to crush value tonight.

Joel Embiid – Util ($9,900 DK) Embiid is another star who is way too cheap tonight. Embiid has been one of the most dominant DFS producers this season yet he has been priced down aggressively for one bad game. Embiid is in the MVP conversation this year and we will not let one poor shooting performance distract us from what he is capable of. The Mavericks are an easy matchup for Embiid as they really lack the skilled Bigs to slow him down.

Alternative Moves…

Giannis Antetokounmpo – PF ($11,000 DK) It is painful to not play Antetokounmpo tonight given his recent production. Antetokounmpo is averaging just shy of 68 FPTS over the last ten days and has the best floor in the league. The only reason Antetokounmpo is not in our core lineup is we wanted to feature three stars who are all drastically underpriced, which Antetokounmpo is not.

Have fun tonight, make sure to keep an eye on the news as we do not know what value may be available.
