We have a tough six game slate to breakdown tonight. There are less obvious value plays then we have been used to and we will have to get a little bit creative. However, there are a few great targets tonight if you know where to look. We have highlighted a balanced lineup for tonight, that involves rostering a few studs without too many punt plays. Our favorite target for tonight is the Houston Rockets, who will be missing a few players from their usual rotation.

Here’s a studs and duds lineup For DFS Basketball 2/22/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardJ. Wall $8,000
Shooting Guard  $5,200
Small Forward  $10,400
Power ForwardP. Tucker $3,500
CenterM. Muscala $3,800
GuardC. Paul $7,800
Forward  $5,900
Utility          $5.300

John Wall is a core play for us tonight as he should receive a massive usage boost. The Rockets are missing a few core players and will have no big men tonight. They should be playing at a faster pace which serves wall much better for DFS. Wall has been on fire the last few nights and he has looked completely healthy. Wall is going to see his price rise substantially if his production remains at this level and this is one of our last chances to roster him at only $8,000,

The Houston rockets will be rocking a myriad of injuries tonight and will have no big men available. Expect P.J Tucker to receive the start at center, which causes a huge boost in production. Tucker is only $3,500 tonight and is probably the cheapest viable play on the slate. If you are looking to pay up for some of the big names tonight, Tucker is a great option. Tucker should play massive minutes tonight and crush his price point with the increased role.

Al Horford has already been ruled out for tonight’s game against Miami. Mike Muscala is bound to get a nice boost as one of Horford’s backups. Muscala is only $3,800 tonight and has hit value at that price in both of his last two contests. Muscala has some solid upside for this price as he is a decent per minute fantasy producer. Muscala tops off our value plays tonight and opens a lot of flexibility elsewhere. Muscala is not an exciting DFS play, but it will be hard for him to disappoint in this spot.

Chris Paul has been showing he is still one of the top point guards in the NBA, Paul is averaging 43.7 FPTS over the last ten days, despite only playing 20 minutes last game on the second half of a back to back. Paul has showed huge upside lately with multiple performances over 50 FPTS. The Suns have a great matchup against Portland tonight and everything is lining up for another big game from Paul. Paul works great with midrange and star-based lineups, as he is underpriced at only $7,800.

Now what do you get if you sign up now?
• Our favorite spend up option on the slate
• Midrange plays who should get extra run tonight
• More pay up options for multiple lineups

Grayson Allen – SG ($5,300 DK) The Grizzlies still have a few injuries and starting guard Dillon Brooks has already been ruled out. Allen should get a nice minute’s boost today as we expect him to play around 30 minutes. Allen has been emerging as a solid fantasy producer this season and we like his upside tonight, Allen fits easily into our lineup at his price point, however better value plays may open up if more news breaks.

Lebron James – SF ($10,400 DK) James is easily our favorite spend up option tonight as he is in the perfect position for DFS. Anthony Davis will remain sidelined tonight which means James will continue to dominate the usage. Furthermore, the Lakers have a dream matchup tonight against the Wizards. Washington really lacks a defender capable of slowing down the King, as James has upside to be an absolute must tonight,

Jae’Sean Tate – G ($5,900 DK) Tate is the final Houston Rockets player that we will be targeting tonight. Tate should get great usage with a few Rockets out of the lineup. We expect Tate to be taking a lot of the center responsibilities, which means a solid production boost. Tate scored 38.5 FPTS last game and we expect him to get more opportunity tonight. With a great matchup with Chicago, Tate is in line for another big game.

Wendell Carter Jr. – Util ($5,300 DK) Carter is a lock for us for the same reason as all the Rockets players. There are no real centers for Houston tonight, and we expect Carter to absolutely feast. Carter’s production has been slightly disappointing the last few slates; however, he was in much worse matchups and coming off an injury. Carter is averaging almost 28 FPTS per game this season and should be productive against Houston tonight.

Alternative Moves…

Luka Doncic – G ($11,400 DK) Doncic has seen his price rise to about the highest that we see it. That is the only reason Doncic is not in the core lineup for us today. However, Doncic can easily blow past his price point tonight. Doncic is averaging well over 70 FPTS across the last ten days and probably has the best upside in the NBA, Doncic is hard to pay up for tonight, but he is a guy you will want some exposure to for GPP.

Have fun tonight, make sure to check what other news we get before lock.
