For a refreshing change of pace, we only have three NBA games to talk about today. Personally, I will be playing this slate quite heavily as less games often makes a slate easier to figure out. Tonight’s slate has some great plays that you can feel extra confident in since there are limited options. We will be returning to the Stars and Scrubs format that has been working for us lately. This is because a huge part of our strategy today involves rostering both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Lebron James¸ who are both projecting for monstrous games on a short slate.

Here’s a stars and scrubs lineup For DFS Basketball 2/18/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardC. Joseph $3,900
Shooting GuardT. Herro $5,900
Small Forward                                  $3,300
Power ForwardG. Antetokounmpo $10,900
CenterH. Whiteside $4,600
Guard  $10,200
Forward  $4,800
Utility          $6,300

The Sacramento Kings are missing a few players tonight and will be our primary source of value. Cory Joseph found himself in the starting lineup last game, which will likely be the case again today since the kings are missing their frontcourt. Joseph scored 32.5 FPTS last night and is still priced at $3,900. Joseph played 30 minutes with the start last game and is one of the best value plays we have as of now.

Tyler Herro has been priced down to $5,900 despite scoring over 43 FPTS in both of his last two matches. The Heat have another great matchup today with the Kings, who we talk about a lot as one of our favorite targets. Herro played 41 and 39 minutes in his last two games, which explains his increased production. Herro should continue to get good run for the Heat tonight. Herro is a great way to pack in a lot of upside without spending up too much.

We targeted Giannis Antetokounmpo last time around and he dominated the matchup with Toronto. The Bucks play the raptors again tonight and there is no reason not to go back to Antetokounmpo at $100 cheaper. Antetokounmpo has been on an absolute tear recently scoring 72.5, 74.75, 65.25 and 70.75 FPTS across his last four games. Antetokounmpo has seen a tremendous usage boost without Jrue Holiday and has had multiple strong scoring performances. Antetokounmpo should be your first play in Cash games tonight as there is a lot of risk to fading him. $10,900 for Antetokounmpo is as good a tag you will find on anyone tonight.

Hassan Whiteside is probably going be chalk today, but it is hard to get away from him. Whiteside broke the slate last game with 58 FPTS in 24 minutes. Whiteside should get more minutes tonight, as he is the only center available for Sacramento. Whiteside has been priced up to $4,800, a tag he can easily crush if he gets solid playing time. Whiteside is a dynamic fantasy producer when the minutes are there and has huge upside going into tonight.

Now what do you get if you sign up now?
• More value plays from Sacramento
• Our favorite GPP play for tonight
• Different options for multiple lineups

Glenn Robinson III – PF ($3,300 DK) Robinson has a somewhat low floor, but he works great in this type of lineup. We need to play someone under $4,000 in order to fit in all our studs and Robinson has real upside. The Kings will be missing multiple forwards today and Robinson may play 30 minutes if he gets the start.

Lebron James – G ($10,200 DK) James is a core spend up for us along with Giannis AntetokounmpoThe lakers will continue to play without Anthony Davis and James should continue to get monster usage. James scored over 58 FPTS last game and is averaging 56.6 FPTS across the last ten days. Tonight, the Lakers have a great matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. On a small slate like this, there are not many players with a solid chance of outscoring James other then Antetokounmpo.

Marvin Bagley – F ($4,800 DK) Sacramento is where we are looking for a lot of our value tonight and Bagley is one of our best bets. Bagley played 30 minutes last game, getting the start at center. Tonight, the Kings are without Harrison Barnes who is there dominant forward. Bagley should pick up massive minutes at power forward and center tonight. Bagley is way too cheap for the role he should be forced into.

Chris Boucher – Util ($6,300 DK) The massive variance in Boucher’s playing time has made him one of the most interesting plays for DFS. Boucher is a per minute monster who often only plays around 15 minutes. However, Boucher played 30 minutes last game against the Bucks, so we expect him to get decent run again tonight. Boucher has monster upside due to his playing style and is an essential target for big tournaments.

Alternative Moves…

Kyle Lowry – G ($7,000 DK) Lowry is listed as questionable and is way too cheap if he plays. However, we really want to highlight that if Lowry is out other plays on Toronto look much strongerFred VanVleet and Pascal Siakam are both great options if Lowry is out.

Bam Adebayo – C ($8,200 DK) This is one of the lowest price tags we will see on Adebayo. Furthermore, Adebayo has another dream matchup tonight, as he will be playing against a gutted Kings frontcourt. Every defender Sacramento may try on Whiteside today is objectively terrible and he should feast.

This is a great slate for both Cash games and multiple entry tournament, dominate your niche.

Good luck everyone.
