Last night went great, all our studs showed up and our cheap plays hit value. We also got lucky with the late news yesterday, no groundbreaking injuries were reported right before lock. Today we have a tough ten game slate to navigate, as there is a lot of value to choose from. We have built a stars and scrubs lineup for today, as there is as a lot of value to pay up with.

Here’s a value-based lineup For DFS Basketball 2/17/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardD. Wright $6,000
Shooting GuardF. Campazzo $3,500
Small ForwardD. Nwaba                                  $3,300
Power Forward  $8,700
CenterN. Jokic $11,000
Guard  $4,200
Forward  $3,600
Utility          $8,600

Delon Wright is a core play for us today as he checks every box for DFS. Wright has seen a $400 price drop, regardless of him scoring 34.5 FPTS last game. Wright has scored over 43 FPTS twice in the last four games and only scored under 34 FPTS once in that span. Wright has no business being priced down to $6,000 tonight. Furthermore, Wright has a great matchup against Chicago, who are known for there subpar defense. Wright is in the perfect spot to crush value tonight.

The Nuggets will remain gutted tonight, which means a $3,500 Facundo Campazzo is a core play. Campazzo scored 37.3 FPTS last night in almost 40 minutes. Campazzo should get similar run tonight, but anything close makes him a lock at this price. Campazzo can hit value in 20 minutes tonight but should play closer to double that. Campazzo only shot 40 percent last night and still dominated, the upside here is hard to get away from for the price.

David Nwaba dominated with extra run last game. Nwaba played over 40 minutes and scored 41 FPTS. However, Nwaba has only been priced up to $4,300. Nwaba will have to play huge minutes again tonight, as the Rockets are still missing a few core players. Nwaba allows us to play aggressive stars and scrubs, without taking on a super low floor play.

Jokers are wild tonight, as everything is lining up for Nikola Jokic to break the slate. As I have said in the past, Jokic has been the most productive fantasy producer in the NBA this season. Denver has a few injuries tonight, and Jokic should have to do even more then usual. The Nuggets have an ideal matchup with the Wizards, who are completely incapable of defending Jokic. Jokic scored 64 FPTS last game and we expect a similar performance tonight.

Now what do you get if you sign up now?
• Cheap plays to commit to stars and scrubs
• A stud center with a dream matchup
• Different options that look great today

Jayson Tatum – PF ($8,700 DK) Tatum is in a great spot today, as a few key Celtics have already been ruled out. Tatum will need to do more tonight, from rebounding to setting up teammates with assists. The Celtics have a great matchup tonight against the defensively challenged Hawks. Tatum has huge upside and will get the usage to make it happen tonight.

Zeke Nnaji – F ($3,600 DK) Nnaji was pretty disappointing yesterday, however we are happy to go back to the well today. Playing Nnaji allows us to pay up for whoever we want elsewhere, and he has some nice upside. Nnaji should have to play big minutes today, as Denver is missing most of there forwards. Nnaji played over 26 minutes last night, which should typically be enough for him to hit value. The Nuggets play the Wizards today, making the minutes Nnaji plays that much more valuable.

Payton Pritchard – G ($4,200 DK) Kemba Walker has been ruled out for tonight, which makes Pritchard a lock for value. Pritchard has showed huge upside without Walker in the past and should play big minutes against the Hawks tonight. Pritchard has been subpar his last few performances, but his role is completely different without Walker. Pritchard will be the dominant guard for Boston tonight, which makes him a smash play for the price.

Bam Adebayo – Util ($11,000 DK) Adebayo caps off our aggressive value lineup. Adebayo has a dream matchup today which we really want a part of. The Warriors are still playing without a center and Adebayo dominates against small lineups. Adebayo was the best player of the Eastern Conference Finals last year, as he was able to constantly smash the small Boston frontcourt. Tonight, the matchup will be even better for Adebayo who will be defended by shorter forwards.

Alternative Moves…

John Wall – G ($7,800 DK) Wall delivered for us last game, scoring 52.8 FPTS as our core point guard. The Rockets are still missing a few players today and Wall will be the clear number one option. Wall has seen a small price bump but is still underpriced given the usage he should take on.

Rudy Gobert – C ($7,300 DK) Gobert remains underpriced tonight, as he has been on every slate for two months. Gobert is averaging 38.9 FPTS on the season and 41 FPTS over the last ten days. Gobert is constantly priced a few hundred too cheap and is therefore typically a solid play. The Jazz have a decent matchup with the Clippers today, who often struggle with a true center like Gobert.

Have fun tonight, make sure to keep an eye on the news as who knows what will break.

Good luck everyone.
