What a slate we have tonight. There are seven NBA games for us to break down. We have a ton of value tonight as there are some phenomenal budget plays that make roster construction quite easy. One team we are all over tonight is the Minnesota Timberwolves, as about half their team has doubtful tags as of now. Furthermore, we are also looking to target players from the Toronto Raptors as they are missing Kyle Lowry and have the best matchup possible. We have gone with an aggressive stars and scrubs build tonight as we have more than enough value to pay up for multiple studs.

Here’s a studs and duds lineup For DFS Basketball 4/5/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardJ. McLaughlin $4,400
Shooting GuardF. VanVleet $8,100
Small ForwardA. Pokusevski $5,300
Power Forward  $8,500
Center  $3,500
Guard  $11,100
Forward  $5,100
UtilityI. Stewart $4,0 00

As we mentioned the Timberwolves are looking like they will be absolutely gutted for tonight’s game with the Kings. Jordan Mclaughlin is priced at $4,400 after his massive game last time out and we love getting to him again tonight. McLaughlin played over 40 minutes last game and Minnesota does not really have any other direction to go for tonight’s game with all the guards out. Sacramento are a great DFS matchup with the pace they play at, and Mclaughlin could be in for another huge performance in this spot.

Fred VanVleet is listed as questionable as of now and it is important to keep on eye on that. We love getting to VanVleet at $8,100 if he is in, as the Raptors are in a great spot for this one. Lowry is out for tonight’s contest and the Raptors have the best matchup to go after in the Washington Wizards. The Wizards play at the fastest pace in the league and the Raptors are in for some nice games here. VanVleet is the first option for Toronto and he has some massive upside if he plays. If VanVleet is listed out, the Raptors become an absolute smash and we want to get some exposure to all the main Raptor’s rotation guys.

We have been getting to Aleksej Pokusevski a lot lately, as he has a massive role on the Thunder team has not yet been fully priced up for. Pokusevski is priced at $5,300 tonight, which is good for the role that he has been getting. Pokusevski has played over 30 minutes in six straight games and has been a top usage guy for the Thunder in that time. Pokusevski has some off shooting nights, but he usually hits decent value even on awful shooting. The Pistons are a great matchup, and this is a good opportunity for Pokusevski to capitalize on the scoring chances.

Mason Plumlee has been ruled out of tonight’s game which creates a massive opening at the center spot for Detroit. Isaiah Stewart is one of our favorite value options on the slate as he should be in for some huge run without Plumlee. There are not a lot of big man options for Detroit, so we expect the rookie to get a massive minute’s load tonight. Stewart is priced at $4,000 tonight which is fair for his production with Plumlee in the lineup. With Plumlee out we expect that Stewart should be able to crush value handily.

Now what do you get if you sign up now?
• Our superstar spend up for the slate
• Another high upside Toronto Raptor.

Pascal Siakam – PF (8,500 DK) As we mentioned we want to get some pieces against this Wizards matchup tonight. Siakam has phenomenal upside in this spot, and we are happy paying up for him. Siakam has been dominant in pace up spots in in the past and he is coming off a 58.25 FPT performance just last game. Siakam is an absolute lock if VanVleet is out tonight but he is a priority play regardless. Siakam has showed a lot of 50 FPT performances lately, his upside benefiting from increased run at center. Siakam has went for over 50 FPTS in three of his last six outings and we are betting on today being a good night.

Tony Bradley – C ($3,500 DK) Bradley is coming off a north of 30 FPT performance and he is just so cheap. With multiple big men out for the Thunder tonight, it is hard to imagine Bradley does not find himself playing decent floor time. Bradley is not the best per minute producer, but he is a big man who will consistently get rebounds. Bradley should be good to hit value here and his salary opens so much freedom elsewhere.

Russell Westbrook – G ($11.100 DK) When we have a slate with multiple strong budget plays, we always want to get at least one guy who has a solid chance of going for 70 plus. Westbrook almost scored 100 FPTS in a game last week and he may have the dream situation without Bradley Bealagain tonight. Westbrook has scored over 50 FPTS in six straight games with some huge performances mixed in. Westbrook has a great matchup against Toronto tonight and we are already getting exposure to the other side of the game. We can afford Westbrook tonight, and that means were not passing up on him.

Kenrich Williams – F ($5,100 DK) The Thunder are missing a lot of guys tonight and we have mentioned our interest in some of there players. Williams probably has the lowest floor out of the guys we are interested in, but the minutes will be there for him as well, so we are not too worried. Williams went for 29.75 FPTS last game and we expect him to get a little bit more floor time tonight. Williams has showed some nice upside as you never really know what his performances will look like. As we said we are looking to get a lot of exposure to a couple teams today.

Here’s a studs and duds lineup For DFS Basketball 4/5/21 (using FanDuel Values)

Point GuardR. Westbrook $11,000
Point GuardJ. McLaughlin $4,600
Shooting GuardF. VanVleet $7,400
Shooting GuardA. Edwards $7,400
Small ForwardK. Williams $4,700
Small ForwardO. Anunoby $7,000
Power ForwardP. Siakam $8,700
Power ForwardI. Stewart $3,700
CenterC. Boucher $5,000

Anthony Edwards – SG (7,400 FD) Edwards has been absolutely guzzling usage lately and we expect that trend to continue tonight as Minnesota has a couple injuries. Edwards shot the ball a mind boggling 23 times last game and we are expecting him to see a similar opportunity here tonight. The Timberwolves have a great matchup against Sacramento tonight. No one should be surprised if Edwards plays 40 minutes here and is one of the best plays on the slate.

OG Anunoby – SF ($7.000 FD) We want to get as many Raptors guys as possible and it is easier to do that over on FanDuel. This price is great for the production that Anunoby has been putting out lately and we love him with the defensive stat bonus on FD. Anunoby has some great upside, and he hasn’t really disappointed in a little while.

Chris Boucher – C ($5.000 FD) Boucher is a clean 900 cheaper on FD then he is on DK, and he is typically better on Fan duel with his block upside. The Raptors have a matchup against a run and gun Wizards squad that might be good for Boucher’s minutes in this one. Boucher has some upside to really make a difference and we love getting him at this price.

Good luck tonight. keep an eye on the news, especially the VanVleet situation.
