A lot less value than last night for tonight’s 8 game NBA slate. Last night so many guys were ruled out before lock that there were almost too many high-quality plays to choose from. Tonight, is a lot more manageable and we still have some great opportunities to target. A huge part of our strategy for the night involves rostering players from the Dallas Mavericks, as they have a perfect situation for DFS tonight. The Mavericks will be missing Kristaps Porzingis tonight and they have the best matchup in the league with the Washington Wizards. We have built a stars and scrubs lineup for tonight, as we want to target two specific superstars and we have the value to do it.

The first guy we are smashing into our lineup tonight is Luka Doncic. As we mentioned we are all over the Mavericks for this slate and Doncic is a huge part of the Dallas production. Doncic is priced at $10,600 tonight, which is on the cheaper end of where he is typically priced. With Porzingis out of the lineup tonight, we should see even more usage for Doncic, and he has some of the best upside on the slate. The matchup with Washington is what makes Doncic a core play for us tonight. The Wizards play at a fast pace and are terrible on defense. We try and target them every chance we get and taking Doncic in this spot is a peak opportunity.
As Doncic is our favorite spend up option on the slate, we can also look to the Mavericks for some solid value plays tonight. Jalen Brunson comes in at a $4,800 price tag which makes him another smash play for us. Brunson scored 31.3 FPTS last game and is averaging 30 FPTS over the last ten days. At this price we would have interest in rostering him no matter what. However, Brunson should have to a little bit more tonight with Porzingis out and is benefiting from the dream matchup with Washington. Brunson checks every box tonight and he fits very easily into any build.
Staying on the topic of Dallas Mavericks, another value play that looks great tonight is Dorian Finney-Smith. Finney-Smith is cheap tonight at only $4,300 and he has great upside with Porzingis out of the rotation. The minutes are not always there for Finney-Smith, but he should be getting a lot of time at the Power Forward with Porzingis out. The matchup with the Wizards makes things a lot easier for everybody and we could be getting a crazy value play for the price here.
The Minnesota Timberwolves are missing most of their normal guard rotation tonight and there is going to be a ton of minutes going around. Jordan McLaughlin is not a fantastic DFS producer but at only $3,500 he should get more then enough run for some solid value. We saw McLaughlin play 33 minutes last game and the Timberwolves are going to be missing even more guys tonight. We expect that McLaughlin should be good for 30 or more minutes tonight and we do not have a lot of super cheap plays tonight that look as promising.

Maxi Kleber – PF (4,100 DK) It is worth noting that Kleber is listed as questionable as of now. If he is ruled out, then other players in Dallas, including the guys we mentioned look even better. However, if Kleber is in he is another play who looks great for tonight. Kleber has been playing solid minutes lately and we expect him to see a massive boost with Porzingis out of the lineup. Kleber does not always produce at a great rate in his time on the court, but he will have a few extra possessions from the Wizards matchup. This is another play that feels like it is very solid in terms of value.
Isiah Hartenstein – C ($4,300 DK) The Cleveland Cavaliers have been missing their normal big men recently and we have seen a ton of opportunity for Hartenstein. Hartenstein has scored over 26 FPTS in both of his last two games and he has upside for even more. Hartenstein is the only real available big man for Cleveland tonight and that makes him a little too cheap at this price.
Anthony Edwards – G ($7.300 DK) As we mentioned earlier the Timberwolves are missing some of their higher usage guards for the night. Edwards has been on a tear lately and the opportunity is always there for him. Edwards has scored over 40 FPTS in each of his three contests and we are getting him at a really good price tonight. Furthermore, with some guys out we expect Edwards to be on the court for most of the game and take even more shots then usual. Edwards always shoots well into the double digits and he comes with monster upside if his shot is falling.
Giannis Antetokounmpo – F ($10,900 DK) The Sacramento Kings are a great team to target in DFS and Antetokounmpo is one of the top studs in the league. This spot is really a no brainer as Antetokounmpo is averaging 57 FPTS per game, which is the highest out of anyone on the slate. The Kings have given massive games to superstars all season and we are betting on Antetokounmpo to be up next tonight. Antetokounmpo went for 72.5 FPTS last night and the matchup should be easier tonight. Playing Antetokounmpo and Doncic gives us a ton of upside and we are gunning to have the two top producers on the slate.

Svi Mykhailiuk – SG (4,100 FD) The Thunder are still missing multiple core players, and this is a fantastic price to pay for Mykhailiuk. He has been getting some great usage lately and he has been a core part of the rotation for the Thunder. The Thunder were blown out last night and a lot of there guys did not have great nights in DFS. However tonight they have a much better matchup against Portland and Mykhailiuk is a smash play at this price.
Rui Hachimura – SF ($6.000 FD) This is a solid price to pay for Hachimura as he has been getting a lot of usage lately and has some nice upside. The Wizards have a solid matchup with the Mavericks tonight and Hachimura has some nice upside. If Bradley Beal ends up out, we should see a nice usage boost for Hachimura, and he is an even better play.
Moses Brown – C ($7.300 FD) Brown has emerged as a polarizing figure in the world of DFS. He quickly emerged and has broken slates with his monster performances. He is not cheap tonight, but he does have a great matchup. Portland play at a fast pace and they allow some big games to opposing centers. Brown has some great upside, and he could be in for a big one in this spot.
