We have only four NBA games to talk about for tonight, but there is a surprising amount of priority plays to get to. On tonight’s four-gamer, we have De’Aaron FoxDomantas Sabonis and Trae Young all sidelined. We also have a few guys on all their teams with questionable tags. As a result, we have a ton of value from the Kings, Pacers and Hawks. We are going with a stars and scrubs build tonight, using value from the priority teams we mentioned. We have some fantastic spend up options tonight to foil the value. Spoiler alert, we are playing Russell Westbrook. As we have a lot of questionable tags tonight, we are going to discuss a few value plays we want to get to if certain players are ruled out.

Here’s a stars and scrubs lineup For DFS Basketball 4/25/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardR. Westbrook $11,000
Shooting GuardD. Wright $4,900
Small ForwardT. Davis $3,300
Power Forward
Center
Guard
Forward  $7,300
UtilityM. Brogdon $8,700

We have been talking a lot lately about the unwritten salary cap that we have seen lately from DraftKings. No one has been priced over $11,100 despite some guys reaching incredible levels of production. At this point we expect Russell Westbrook to score between 60 and 70 FPTS every time he plays, and he is only $11,000. This price makes Westbrook an absolute lock, as he has not put out a poor performance in over a month. Westbrook went for over 70 FPTS last time around and it was no surprise at all. Westbrook is averaging a comical 64.4 FPTS over the past ten days. If you are going elsewhere it is strictly to avoid ownership in tournaments. Even so, we are more confident getting different literally anywhere else.

With Fox out tonight, the Kings are probably our favorite team to get to with a fantastic matchup against the Warriors. Delon Wright looks fantastic tonight as he should be in for some massive point guard duties. Wright was not great last game, but Fox played the entire game and we saw Wright dominate in solid minutes in the games before. It is hard to imagine Wright is not in for significant minutes run today, as he should be a top candidate to go for Fox’s minutes. Sacramento has preferred to run multiple guards at once all season, which looks great for guys like Wright here. Wright is only $4,900 and he has some serious upside as we do not know how big his role will be for tonight.

Staying on the topic of value from Sacramento, Terrence Davis has a lot of potential in this spot for only $3,300. With Fox out, there should be a massive trickle-down effect with the minutes. As a result, we are not too concerned about the low floor we that is usually a problem with Davis. Davis has showed some surprising upside since he got to Sacramento, as he has had multiple big games. The Kings appear to be much more willing to play Davis significant run then the Raptors, and we must expect him to see one of his bigger opportunities with the top dog out tonight. Pretty much every Sacramento guard looks like good value tonight, as you will see throughout our core lineup.

The Pacers are once again without Sabonis amongst others tonight. Which always leads to a massive opportunity for Malcom Brogdon. Brogdon has been great in the last two without Sabonis, scoring 61.75 and 45 FPTS. Brogdon has shot the ball over 20 times in each of the past two outings, and we know he is the sure fire first option with all the Pacers guys out. Brogdon has been doing a little bit of everything since Sabonis went down, and he has great upside here. We have a lot of value on this slate, so paying $8,700 for Brogdon is not a problem. Brogdon is a totally different player when he is the only star on the floor, do not be turned off by the bigger price tag tonight.

Oshae Brissett – PF ($4,800 DK) As been the case the past two slates, Goga Bitadze is questionable as of now. Bitadze ended up out for the last two, and we saw massive starts at center for Brissett. Brissett has scored 51.5 and 32.25 FPTS in the starting lineup the last two slates. If Brissett is going to be starting at center again tonight, we are happy getting to him as his price begins to rise. Brissett has been playing monstrous minutes the last few games, if Bitadze remains out we expect that to remain the case today. We have seen the upside here, and Brissett is still cheap for high 30’s minutes at the five. If Bitadze is in and Brissett is not the starting center, we are probably looking to get another piece from Atlanta or Sacramento instead.

Onyeka Okongwu – C ($3,800 DK) Clint Capela was out last game and is questionable for tonight. Okongwu’s viability here is entirely dependent upon whether Capela is out. If Capela is in we are looking elsewhere, but if Capela is out Okongwu is likely to start again. Okongwu played 28 minutes last game and we must expect similar run if he is to start tonight. Okongwu is too cheap for that much floor time and he looks like a great value play if that is going to be the case.

Tyrese Haliburton – G ($6,200 DK) With the Role Haliburton has as secondary point guard after Fox, we expect him to see massive opportunity here. Haliburton has been somewhat inconsistent lately, but his minutes are super solid without Fox. Fox usually played almost 40 minutes and dominates the ball. So much of that opportunity will statistically go to Haliburton tonight, and none of that is demonstrated in his price. Haliburton has some crazy upside without Fox tonight, as he could play almost the whole game for Sacramento. We are not too worried about playing too many Sacramento guards here, as we know a lot of these guys will see the floor at the same time.

Buddy Hield – F ($7,300 DK) Hield went for 49 FPTS last game, which is the type of upside we are hoping for with Fox out tonight. With a fantastic matchup against the Warriors, there is so much opportunity for Kings studs like Haliburton and Hield to dominate. We want to highlight a few of these guys as they look like some of the best plays value wise as of now. We do not feel like four kings is overdoing it here, as they are supposed to be in a high pace matchup with the Warriors. We are not too concerned about the floor here, as Hield should be able to amass solid value from sheer floor time and usage in this spot.

Here’s a stars and scrubs lineup For DFS Basketball 4/25/21 (using FanDuel Values)

Point GuardR. Westbrook $11,100
Point GuardD. Wright $5,900
Shooting GuardT. Haliburton $5,800
Shooting GuardD. Bacon $3,900
Small ForwardB. Hield $6,500
Small ForwardO. Brissett $5,300
Power ForwardH. Barnes $6,400
Power ForwardG. Antetokounmpo $10,900
CenterO. Okongwu $3,900

Dwayne Bacon – SG (3,900 FD) There are a few questionable tags tonight for the Magic. Most of which are for the wing positions. If a few guys end up out for Orlando here, we like getting to Bacon at this price. We saw Bacon go for well over 30 FPTS the last time the Magic rested a bunch of guys. However, if everyone is healthy, we probably are looking for a higher upside play.

Harrison Barnes – PF (6,400 FD) Barnes is a lot more expensive on DraftKings tonight, a difference of well over $1,000. This is what kept Barnes out of our core DK lineup for tonight, as he is a bit too expensive on DK. However, he should be in for way more usage with Fox out. His minutes should be solid, and Barnes is a fantastic play on FanDuel. Barnes has showed us some remarkable upside all year, and we must expect it to show with Fox out in a great matchup.

Giannis Antetokounmpo – PF (10,900 FD) The salary is a lot looser on FanDuel and we are inclined to play Antetokounmpo alongside Westbrook. Antetokounmpo has been strange in DFS lately dealing with injury. However, he has been great the past few slates and we feel good about getting to Antetokounmpo here. The Bucks have a great matchup with the Hawks, and if Antetokounmpo has one of his big nights, we will want him with Westbrook since we have so much value.

Good luck tonight, watch the news as we have been getting crazy developments every single night.
