We have a massive 12 game slate to breakdown for tonight, and we have a lot to talk about. As always on a slate of this size, there are quite a few guys catching our attention and we have some great value to play with. We do not have a crazy amount of injury news yet, so our lineup is spread around different teams on the slate. We have a ton of very enticing superstars tonight, as a lot of favorite pay options will be taking the court. Furthermore, we have some great budget plays tonight. This is a perfect situation to play stars and scrubs, and we will be highlighting some of our favorite plays at both ends of the price spectrum.

Here’s a stars and scrubs lineup For DFS Basketball 4/21/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardR. Westbrook $10,900
Shooting GuardP. George $9,300
Small ForwardA. Iguodala $3,600
Power Forward
Center
Guard
Forward  $3,100
UtilityK. Towns $10,400

Until he finally disappoints us, we are happy going back to Russell Westbrook for tonight. Westbrook has not scored under 55 FPTS once in the past ten outings. Furthermore, he has shown higher upside then anyone else in the league has come close to. Westbrook can go for high 60’s in FPTS any night and his floor lately has been 55. It is hard to feel bad about drafting Westbrook tonight, as it has been for weeks now. It is an absolute joke is only $10,900 tonight, as he has provided good value at this tag for over a month straight. Westbrook is performing at a level that is unmatched in DFS right now, and he is one of the best plays on every slate until that changes. We have some cheap guys we want to get to tonight, which makes Westbrook a no brainer.

Kawhi Leonard will remain sidelined for tonight’s game, which means we want some exposure to Paul George. George will be the clear number one option tonight, and the only star with Leonard off the floor. We have seen George receive huge usage bumps in situations without Leonard all season, which is what we expect to see tonight. George is not cheap tonight at $9,300, but his hot hand more then warrants the price tag. George scored 56.3 FPTS last game and has had two 60 FPT performances in his last four games. George has been dominating as a scorer lately, which makes him a prime target with no Leonard. George always takes a big role when Leonard is out, and he could easily continue the trend of big games against Memphis tonight.

We want to take a moment to talk about the Miami Heat for tonight. The Heat sat a lot of guys last time around and now most of those guys are questionable for tonight. Pretty much all the big names on Miami have Q tags right now, and we will want to look to the Heat for value if those guys end up out. One guy who looks great if Miami sits everyone again is Andre Iguodala, who could be a priority play at $3,600. Iguodala was one of the best plays on the slate last time around with 43 FPTS. If Miami is resting their big guys again tonight, we can expect another massive opportunity for Iguodala. He might not score 43 FPTS again, but he should crush value at this price given the opportunity.

We have no idea what is going to happen with Goga Bitadze’s questionable tag tonight, but we need to highlight him regardless. Indiana is missing both their marquee big men tonight and we know Bitadze should have the center spot for himself if he is good to go tonight. Bitadze scored over 28 FPTS last game and would of went for more had he not got hurt. We are getting Bitadze at $4,200 tonight, which is way too cheap for anyone who will be the only center for there team. If Bitadze is out, Indiana literally has no healthy big’s. And we want to smash Indiana wing plays as they will have to consume the big positions via small ball.

Now what do you get if you sign up now?
• Our priority value plays on the slate.
• A big man who could be in for a huge night.
•  Get 7-days for free and all-access for all sports for $99 per year after

Xavier Tillman – PF ($4,200 DK) We went to Tillman last time around as he was bound to start without Jonas Valanciunas. Same situation today and we are happy paying a small premium on Tillman. Tillman was one of the best plays on the slate in the starting spot last time around, putting up 45 FPTS. Although this is not a reasonable expectation for Tillman, he should start again tonight and play some big minutes for the Grizzlies. Memphis is missing a few forwards tonight which should solidify the minutes even further for Tillman. The fact that we can put Tillman in the Power Forward spot makes him a smash for us, as we should not have that luxury with a starting center.

Karl-Anthony Towns – C ($10,400 DK) Towns has been a monster lately, and he has not been afraid to show us his upside. Towns has the same great matchup against the Kings that he had last night, in which he dominated. Towns put 66 FPTS up against Sacramento last night, and we don’t expect their random big man rotation to learn defense in 24 hours. Jokes aside, the Kings are a league leader in pace, and they really do have undisciplined defensive big’s. Towns is averaging over 50 FPTS on the season and is a top DFS guy in the league. We are always going to expect a nice score against Sacramento, and we are getting Towns for a few hundred cheaper than the other superstar centers on the slate. Those savings are quite relevant as we want to play Towns alongside Westbrook and George.

Delon Wright – G ($4,100 DKWright saw his DFS production crash radically when he was traded from Detroit to Sacramento. However, over the last few days we have seen Wright get some solid run for the Kings and show us some nice production. Wright has scored over 28 FPTS in each of his past three games which is good for around seven times value at this price. We saw Wright consistently produce for Detroit this year, and it is not surprising to see him put some production out with the Kings. Wright has a lot of upside and he is cheap enough our only concern is if completely falls out of the rotation.

Oshae Brissett – F ($3,100 DK) Congratulations to Brissett, for his first appearance in our core DFS lineup. Brissett has been bounced around a bit since entering the league a few years back. However, he is a power forward who is healthy and an Indiana Pacer. Which should lock him in for big minutes tonight. Brissett produced 24 FPTS last game and we expect a bigger opportunity tonight. Brissett was just inked to a three-year deal with the Pacers, so obviously they are willing to play him. If Bitadze is out tonight, we likely see Brissett start at the five, which is a hilarious situation in itself. Nevertheless, we are all over this Indiana big man mess for DFS tonight.

Here’s a stars and scrubs lineup for DFS Basketball 4/21/21 (using FanDuel Values)Point GuardR. Irving $10,800Point GuardD. Wright $5,300Shooting GuardP. George $9,400Shooting GuardD. Brooks $5,200Small ForwardA. Iguodala $4,400Small ForwardO. Brissett $3,800Power ForwardX. Tillman $5,000Power ForwardB. Griffin $5,000CenterK. Towns $10,500  Dillon Brooks – SG (5,200 FD) Brooks was out last game and is questionable for tonight, so we need to monitor his status. However, Brooks has been great lately and we are getting him at a great price if he plays. Brook scored over 38 FPTS in both of his last two contests, and if he is in tonight he will be playing on a undermanned Grizzlies squad. Brooks has nice some upside and we are always happy to get upside for cheap.

Blake Griffin – PF (5,000 FD) We want to talk about Griffin because of how strange the center rotation has become for Brooklyn. Griffin is first-string center now, which although ridiculous, creates some opportunity for DFS. Center is naturally the best position for DFS because of rebounds and defensive stats. We saw Griffin go for over 30 FPTS last game, and he does need of playing time to amass stats in this position. Keep in mind this is a 12-game slate and we have a lot of news left up in the air. This is going to be a night you need to be watching the news to stay competitive closer to lock. Go win your lineup and tell us how you did. Twitter (@FantasyDFSX) is a good place for that.
