We have a massive 11 game slate to breakdown tonight. There is a ton to talk about as we have a lot of value on this monster slate. We have already gotten a ton of news today and expect more to break closer to lock. There are a few teams we are targeting tonight that are resting multiple big players and present a ton of value. The Raptors, Clippers, Nets and Hornets are all missing big names today and we are targeting guys from each of these teams. We are going stars and scrubs today as we have so much value available it is hard to do anything else. Slates that have this many value options typically lead to stars and scrubs rosters. We are going after some studs that have great upside tonight, as we have the salary to pay up for our favorite studs.

Here’s a stars and scrubs lineup For DFS Basketball 4/14/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardM. Flynn $5,500
Shooting GuardB. Beal $8,700
Small ForwardM. Morris Sr. $5,500
Power Forward
Center
Guard
Forward  $4,300
UtilityB. Biyombo $3,200

We got the news this morning that Kyle Lowry and Gary Trent Jr.   will be joining Fred VanVleeton the sideline tonight. The Raptors are absolutely gutted for this one and we are confident we see another big opportunity for Malachi Flynn. Flynn’s price has landed at $5,500 tonight, which is too cheap for the role we have seen from him with all these guys out. Flynn has crushed value at this price in each of the past six except for one game where Lowry played against the Knicks. Flynn has played well over 30 minutes in each of those games and we expect see huge run from him tonight. The Raptors are clearly tanking right now, and it is working out very well for the Rookie’s DFS production.

Brad Beal looks great tonight at only $8,700, as the Wizards have a fantastic matchup with the Sacramento Kings. Beal went for 48.3 FPTS last game and is averaging 46.9 FPTS on the season. We saw Beal put up 31 shot attempts last game and that is not unusual for the leagues leading scorer. Beal is too cheap whenever he is under $9,000 and we are looking for high upside studs tonight. The tag on Beal allows us to play him alongside multiple other stars and we know he has some of the best upside in the league. Sacramento play at a fast pace a lot like the Wizards, and we expect this game to be an absolute shootout. This is a great game to target, and an underpriced Beal fits well in any lineup.

We just got the news that the Clippers will be sitting both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George tonight. A ton of value just opened on the Clippers, and their higher usage players will have massive upside tonight. Marcus Morris Sr. has been great the last two games without Leonard and we are all over him with George sidelined as well. Morris has scored 44.5 and 36.75 FPTS in each of his last two games. He has played 30 or more minutes and has taken huge usage for the Clippers. Morris is underpriced tonight at $5,500 and he is a smash play with all the injuries. With George out, Morris should start, and we expect him to see a nice opportunity tonight.

Bismack Biyombo delivered a massive value performance for us last game with 29.5 FPTS. Biyombo started last game and played 27.5 minutes. Tonight, PJ Washington remains sidelined for the Hornets and we expect a similar opportunity for Biyombo. The Hornet cannot really go small without Washington and Biyombo’s minutes feel very solid for this one. Biyombo is still only $3,200 and he can easily smash value again with rebounds and a few other stats.

Pascal Siakam – PF (8,500 DK)it is hard not to continue to target Siakam tonight, as he is the clear go to guy for the Raptors with Lowry and VanVleet out. Siakam shot the ball 19 times in 40 minutes last game. Which is not a shocking role from a star player who is missing three high usage teammates. Siakam is yet to be significantly priced up in the absence of all the Toronto guys and he has upside to be a top play on the slate. Siakam went for 50 FPTS last game, and that was nowhere near his ceiling in this spot. The Raptors have a good matchup tonight against the Spurs and you really can’t go wrong with any of the rotation guys who are left healthy.

Nicolas Claxton – C ($3,100 DK) News broke this afternoon that LaMarcus Aldridge is going to remain out for tonight. Claxton is a fantastic value play with Aldridge out as he should be in for some solid run. Claxton started last game and amassed 23 FPTS in over 20.4 minutes last game, which is great value for this price. We expect that Claxton continues to start tonight and he should be in for more minutes. Claxton has massive upside as at this price he could give us crazy value with a decent game. The matchup is not great tonight, but we are still banking on some solid value from Claxton.

Russell Westbrook – G ($11,000 DK) With all the salary on tonight’s slate it really takes some mental gymnastics to get away from Westbrook. Westbrook has scored well over 50 FPTS in ten straight games and has scored over 60 in six of those ten outings. Westbrook has been the top DFS producer over the last few months by a good margin and he is a lock for us on tonight’s slate. We have more then enough extra salary to pay up tonight, and Westbrook looks the best out of any of the studs at the top. Westbrook just devoured two of the toughest matchups in the league. As he scored 55.75 and 68.5 FPTS respectively against the Phoenix Suns and Utah Jazz. The Wizards have a phenomenal matchup with the Kings tonight and the sky is the limit for Westbrook. It is hard to even remember the last bad DFS night from Westbrook and he should be in for another big performance against the Kings.

Luke Kennard – F ($4,300 DK) We mentioned earlier that the Clippers are resting Leonard and George tonight. Kennard has seen a solid minute’s bump with these guys off the floor and we expect a massive opportunity with them both sidelined. We are still getting Kennard cheap, and someone is going to have to step up for the Clippers tonight. Kennard played at least 24 minutes in each of the last three games, and we are expecting a few more without George. At this price, Kennard will be a fantastic play if he puts together a solid shooting night.

Here’s a stars and scrubs lineup For DFS Basketball 4/14/21 (using FanDuel Values)

Point GuardR. Westbrook $11,200
Point GuardM. Flynn $5,300
Shooting GuardB. Beal $8,500
Shooting GuardL. Kennard $3,800
Small ForwardO. Anunoby $6,800
Small ForwardK. Porter $6,500
Power ForwardP. Siakam $8,600
Power ForwardM. Morris $5,600
CenterB. Biyombo $3,500

OG Anunoby – SF (6,800 FD) This price tag feels fantastic, and we are happy getting to Anunoby tonight. The Raptors are missing so many players and with Trent added to the injury report it is hard to imagine the minutes not being there for Anunoby. Anunoby is one of three players available tonight who is not a power forward or center, and we could see him play north of 40 minutes tonight. Anunoby should be getting a lot of extra usage with all the injuries tonight and he has some fantastic upside. We mentioned earlier you can’t really go wrong with these Toronto guys and that is definitely the case here.

Kevin Porter – SF (6,500 FD) We often mention that we need a lot of upside for tournaments on a big slate like this. Porter is not a guy we would go to for cash games as he as a low floor and there are more consistent options. However, Porter has massive upside as he showed going for over 50 FPTS last game. The Rockets are missing too many players to count, and the opportunity will remain there for Porter. The Rockets have a solid matchup with Indiana tonight and Porter could be in for another big night.

Good luck tonight, keep an eye on the news as anything can happen on a slate this size.
