We only have six games tonight and this slate looks interesting as of now. A ton of news just broke as of this afternoon and we now have a surprising amount of value on what was originally looking like an ugly slate. The first thing to mention tonight is the Charlotte Hornets, as Terry Rozier and P.J Washington are joining the sidelined Hornets. Charlotte is missing the four players who typically have the biggest tags in DFS, and there is a huge opportunity going around. We also have some big injuries we will discuss on the Clippers and the Raptors. We have built a stars and scrubs lineup tonight, as we have some fantastic cheap plays with all the injuries. There are not many enticing plays with tags around $10,000 tonight, so instead we are targeting cheaper studs who have good opportunities tonight.

Here’s a stars and scrubs lineup For DFS Basketball 4/13/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardD. Graham $6,300
Shooting GuardP. George $8,700
Small ForwardM. Bridges $5,800
Power Forward  $5,000
Center  $8,600
Guard  $3,800
Forward  $8,800
UtilityB. Biyombo $3,000

The Hornets are the source of most of our vale as of now. They are missing most of there usual starting lineup and all there big three studs. Devonte Graham is likely going to be the man today for Charlotte as he is the only high usage guy left in the rotation. Graham is one of the only guards left for Charlotte and we expect him to play a massive minute’s load tonight. Graham has massive upside in this spot as he should be the clear first option for the Hornets with the top guys out. Graham scored 34 FPTS last game and is fairly priced tonight at $6,300, but with all the injuries he is a smash play as he has some wild upside.

We already know that Kawhi Leonard is out for tonight against the Pacers. The Clippers are a secondary team we are looking at after the Hornets, starting with Paul George. George typically see’s a massive opportunity when Leonard is not available as we saw just last game. George went for over 50 FPTS last game and he shot a mind boggling 25 shot attempts. George is too cheap at $8,700 tonight, as he has scored over 50 FPTS in three straight outings. The Clippers have a solid matchup with Indiana tonight and we expect George to have the opportunity for another huge game. Considering the hot hand George has showed lately, it is hard to get away from him at this price.

We are going heavy on the Hornets today as pretty much everyone looks good. All the guys who have played solid minutes in the rotation lately and are healthy tonight look fantastic. Miles Bridgesat $5,800 is one of many priority plays from Charlotte for tonight’s slate. This is way too cheap for Bridges as he has scored 45.75 and 37,25 FPTS in each of his last two games. Bridges has showed multiple huge games lately and Charlotte is going to have way more injuries tonight. Bridges has smashed in three of his past five outings, and his upside tonight is very enticing. Bridges should see a big opportunity tonight and he could smash his price tag once again.

Bismack Biyombo is way too cheap at $3,000 with Washington out of the rotation. Biyombo is a decent per minute producer and there is going to be a lot of extra center minutes going around. At the minimum price Biyombo should be able to crush value if he plays 20 or more minutes tonight. As the Lakers are playing a lot of big men right now, we expect Biyombo gets solid run as Charlotte cannot go too small for this one. Furthermore, Charlotte do not have a lot of bodies in general and we are confident Biyombo is left out there for at least some minutes. The price on Biyombo opens enough salary to pay up for all our studs and he can hardly disappoint us at the minimum tag.

Now what do you get if you sign up now?

Marcus Morris Sr. – PF (5,000 DK) Morris had a massive game without Leonard last time, and we have seen him get a big opportunity when the star was sidelined in the past. Morris went for a massive 44.5 FPTS last game, and he was one of the top plays on the slate. Morris played 37 minutes and shot the ball 18 times last game. Obviously, we do not expect him to go for 44 FPTS again, but he should be able to hit some nice value with this kind of usage. The Clippers do not have many forward options with Leonard out and we expect that Morris sees big run again tonight.

Pascal Siakam – C ($8,600 DK) Kyle Lowry was just ruled out for tonight and we now have a ton of spare usage for Toronto. A lot of the Raptors have been priced up somewhat as they have been dealing with injuries for the past few weeks. However, we are happy paying up for Siakam with the star guards out tonight. Siakam should have a massive opportunity tonight and be the clear number one offensively. Siakam has been somewhat disappointing the last few slates, but he still has been hitting value often. With the other stars for Toronto out tonight, there is a huge opportunity for Siakam to be one of the top producers on tonight’s slate. Siakam has a big game in store, and we are hoping to see it tonight in a good matchup with the Hawks.

Brad Wanamaker – G ($3,800 DK) Wanamaker is our favorite value play on the slate with Rozier ruled out. Wanamaker is already way too cheap for the role that he has shown with the injured Hornets. Wanamaker has scored over 23 FPTS in three straight games which is fantastic for this price point. With Rozier out, we expect Wanamaker likely gets the start but gets a huge run regardless. Wanamaker has been playing mid 20’s minutes and should get a massive boost with Rozier out. At this price, it feels safe that he will hit solid value for us.

Domantas Sabonis – F ($8,800 DKMyles Turner remains sidelined which means we expect Sabonis continues to start at Center. Sabonis gets a massive boost without Turner as he becomes the only big man on the floor for a vast majority of the game, which grants a solid rebounding boost. Sabonis has went for 15 rebounds in his last two with Turner out and has crushed this salary in both outings. The Clippers do not have a strong center and Sabonis should be able to dominate on the glass and inside again tonight. Sabonis is still priced down from his injury, however he appears to be back to full health. This is a great opportunity to roster Sabonis before his price rises back up.

Here’s a stars and scrubs lineup For DFS Basketball 4/13/21 (using FanDuel Values)

Point GuardB. Wanamaker $4,600
Point GuardR. Jackson $5,600
Shooting GuardD. Graham $6,600
Shooting GuardP. George $9,000
Small ForwardM. Bridges $6,200
Small ForwardN. Powell $6,400
Power ForwardP. Siakam $8,700
Power ForwardD. Sabonis $9,000
CenterB. Biyombo $3,800

Reggie Jackson – PG (5,600 FD) Jackson has showed some solid upside all season for the Clippers and he should be in for a big opportunity without Leonard tonight. Jackson can easily go for 40 or more FPTS if he is having one of his big nights, and he has had some nice games without Leonard in the past. Jackson gives us some great upside at a cheap cost here and we want some exposure to the Clippers tonight.

Norman Powell – PG (6,400 FD) Powell has not been great the last few times out for Portland, but the opportunity has been there. Powell has been instantly inserted into Portland’s starting lineup, and he has been playing well over 30 minutes per night. Powell is cheap tonight and was showing some huge games on the Raptors. Powell has gotten affordable, and he could be in for some big games as he gets more comfortable on Portland.

Good luck tonight, keep an eye out as we are still waiting on some big news.
