There are eleven NBA games tonight, which means we have a lot to talk about for DFS. This slate looks fantastic, as we are in the perfect situation to construct a nice stars and scrubs lineup. We have a few superstar we really like in there matchups tonight, and some fantastic budget options to help us pay up. We have a lot of options that look good with this many teams playing, but there are a few guys that really stand out. Our core for tonight consists of the two superstars who we are building around, as well as a few value options that look good. We have a few questionable tags here, but a lot less then what we have seen the last few slates. This is the kind of slate where the lineups feel like they build themselves, so we really like it for Cash games. In our premium content we will get into some guys that look good for tournaments, including a few players we think likely go unnoticed on this eleven gamer.

Here’s a balanced core For DFS Basketball 11/3/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardL. Doncic $10,700
Shooting GuardS. Mykhailiuk $3,700
Small ForwardM. Beasley $4,100
Power Forward
CenterJ. Embiid $10,300
Guard
Forward
Utility

We have a lot of our stars available with all the games tonight, however there are a few superstars that stand out to us where they are priced. Luka Doncic is one of the studs we are going to be using for Cash games tonight, in a solid matchup against San Antonio. Doncic is one of the best DFS producers on this slate, and a lot of the other studs are more expensive tonight. It is hard to justify a lot of the studs on this slate at similar or higher prices then Doncic for Cash, and we like using him a lot for tournaments as well. We know Doncic has some of the best upside in the NBA right now, and we know his FPT per game average will be higher then almost anyone on this slate by the end of the season.

Rookie Scottie Barnes was out last time around for the Toronto Raptors, which is a big deal for DFS as he is playing a ton of minutes with high usage. His absence led to a big opportunity for some of the other young Raptors. Svi Mykhailiuk got the start last time out and ended up scoring 33.8 FPTS in 34.5 minutes. Mykhailiuk is still only $3,700 going into tonight, so we really like him as a value option here. If Mykhailiuk continues to start for Toronto here, he should be in for around 30 minutes again. He has great upside at this price point and his floor is pretty good if he gets the start. This price tag also works perfectly in our stars and scrubs lineup.

One piece of news that we have for tonight’s slate is that DeAngelo Russell is going to be out for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Russell usually plays around 30 minutes with high usage, so there is a huge opportunity in the Wolves guards tonight. We saw Russell get hurt in his last game, leading him to play only 16 minutes. One player who really saw some extra floor time was Malik Beasley, who saw 32 minutes with Russell being limited. Beasley is only $4,100 here, as he has not had the biggest role for the Wolves this year with Anthony Edwards stepping up. However, we expect Beasley to play a ton of minutes tonight, as he is the clear scoring option behind Russell. Beasley has some fantastic upside here and it is very easy to imagine how he can produce some ridiculous value. By building around Beasley and Mykhailiuk we have no issues paying up for our two superstars.

Our favorite superstar as of now is going to be Joel Embiid, who is in a fantastic situation here at $10,300. Price wise, Embiid instantly stands out as he is cheaper than a lot of studs who do not have his upside here. We know that Tobias Harris is going to be out for the Sixers tonight, and obviously Ben Simmons remains inactive. Embiid must do everything for this team when he is the only star on the floor, so we expect some crazy usage out of him tonight. The Sixers also have a fantastic matchup against the Chicago Bulls, who are not known for there defense. Embiid has struggled with injuries this year, but he is not on the injury report and should be well rested here.

Here’s a balanced core For DFS Basketball 11/3/21 (using FanDuel Values)

Point GuardL. Doncic $9,300
Point Guard
Shooting Guard
Shooting Guard
Small ForwardM. Beasley $4,500
Small Forward
Power ForwardK. Birch $4,200
Power Forward
CenterJ. Embiid $9,700

Khem Birch is a guy that we really like on both sites tonight, as he remains cheap here playing a lot of minutes at center for Toronto. Birch is a guy that we expect to way under rostered tonight, as there are flashier value plays on this slate. However, we have seen an inspiring minutes trend from Birch as he has played more minutes than the last game in five straight games. Birch is now playing way more minutes than every other raptors center, even though he has not gotten the start. Birch played over 30 minutes last time out which we now expect to be the norm, if that is the case he will prove to be way too cheap at this price point.

Now what do you get if you sign up now for $99?
• Priorities at every position
• Some general strategy for the night
• More guys who are absolute priorities for us
• Our strategy for Tournaments compared to Cash games

Point Guard

Ja Morant – PG ($9,300 DK) Morant has been incredible so far this season, as he appears to be taking another massive step up. He has been averaging 49.7 FPTS per game so far, and he has consistently taken massive usage for the Grizzlies. Morant has had a few monster games already this year, scoring over 50 and 60 FPTS a few times. He is a little too cheap here at $9,300 considering how good he has been, and we are happy with this Denver matchup. Morant is a star we are going to be getting a lot of in tournament lineups and we are happy squeezing in cash rosters if we have the space.

Shooting Guard

Shake Milton – ($3,800 DK) We are not going to be using Milton for Cash games, as we have other value options that are considerably safer. However, we really like the upside on Milton for tournaments tonight. Milton was dealing with some injuries to start off the season, and we saw him return to play three games ago. He scored over 20 FPTS in his first two games, with his minutes trending upwards. He was slightly disappointing last time out only playing 20 minutes and going for 14.75 FPTS. However, Milton was a highly owned play going into his last game, and we expect him to go overlooked here due to one bad game. The Sixers remain extremely short handed here, and there is room for that big Milton game to still come.

Small Forward

OG Anunoby  (7,700 DK) Anunoby is getting more expensive than we have ever seen him before, but we still think he is too cheap for the role expect him to play tonight. All the Raptors did a little bit more last time out with Barnes off the floor, and Anunoby was the clear leader for the team. He put up a mind boggling 27 shot attempts in 41 minutes, leading to 50 FPTS. We expect to see Anunoby take massive usage again tonight, in another fantastic matchup against the Washington Wizards. Anunoby has great upside here, as we have seen him put up more shots than any other Raptor lately.

Gary Trent Jr. – ($5,100 Dk) Unless some more major injury news opens, the Toronto Raptors are the team we want the most exposure of tonight. Not only is there a ton of minutes to go around, but we also saw all these guys have great performances in the one game without Barnes. We really like Trent at this price point, as it is a surprise he has not been priced up more after last game. Trent led the Raptors with 43 minutes on the floor last time out, and he amassed 41 FPTS. He saw a massive usage bump with Barnes off the floor, so the upside is good going into tonight. With his price barely moving, there is not a lot to like about Barnes tonight.

Power Forward

Julius Randle – (9,400 DKRandle is a guy who can be easily overlooked on a slate with so many flashy options, however we really like him in this spot. $9,400 is a good price to pay for a guy who is averaging 48 FPTS and has the upside to go for over 60 on a good night. The matchup against the Pacers is also something we seldom want to ignore, as it is proving to be one of the most fruitful situations in DFS. Indiana play at a very fast pace and have been allowing some massive games against there defense lately, we have had great success targeting them and want to continue to do so with Randle. We may not have the salary to get to Randle in our core cash lineup, but we really like getting to him in tournaments.

Center

Jonas Valanciunas – ($8,500 DK) Valanciunas is playing the best and most consistent basketball of his career right now. He has been good in almost every game since joining the Pelicans, and he has consistently shown mammoth upside. Valanciunas is especially hot right now, as we have seen him score 50, 51.5 and 49.25 FPTS in his last three games. He has scored 50 or more FPTS in half of his games this season, and we can not get enough of him in tonight’s matchup. Valanciunas should be in for a feast with an easy matchup against Sacramento. We also could see Brandon Ingram miss another game. If that ends up being the case we like Valanciunas even more here, as that should guarantee high usage.

General strategy

This is one of the more appetizing NBA DFS slates we have seen in a while. We have a ton of value options that feel very safe minutes wise, and we know what studs we want to go after. We really like this slate for Cash games, as if you use our core the lineup really builds itself. It is also an interesting one for tournaments, especially if you can play multiple entries. If that is the case, we recommend getting some exposure to all the studs we mention the article, as they all have the potential to go off. One thing that is nice here is we don’t have quite as many questionable tags to worry about, so we can be more confident making our lineups earlier. We still want to watch the news as anything can happen, but we are not uncertain about as many guys. Good luck with this one and make some money tonight.
