We are back to the gigantic slates tonight, as we have eleven NBA games to breakdown for this one. We already have a ton of value on tonight’s slate, and a lot of stars on the top end that stand out to us. We are expecting more news to break throughout the day, so this may become a slate like we saw a few nights ago where there are almost too many options to choose from. As of now we have a lot of value on the Boston Celtics who are missing Jaylen Brown, as well as the Chicago bulls who will be without Nikola Vucevic. For our core plays today we will talk about one value who we know is going to look fantastic tonight, as well as one star that stands out from the crowd. We will also get to one fade from the top end tonight, to make the decisions that much easier for you. In our premium content we will get to high upside GPP plays from across the slate. We will also dive deeper into who may step up for the Bulls in the absence of Vucevic.

Here’s Two Core Plays For DFS Basketball 11/12/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardR. Westbrook $11,200
Shooting GuardJ. Richardson $3,300
Small Forward.
Power Forward
Center
Guard
Forward
Utility

The extended absence of LeBron James has allowed for a massive opportunity to go to the other Lakers studs, and they have capitalized with some massive games. As James remains out tonight for an easy matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves, we are once again looking to the Lakers for some of our favorite stars here. Russell Westbrook looks fantastic at $11,200 here, as he is coming off of two massive triple doubles. Westbrook has scored 60 and 69 FPTS respectively across his past two games, as he has consistently seen some big opportunities. Westbrook plays a massive role for this Lakers team when James sits as he usually has the ball in his hands. With this matchup, Westbrook is the first guy we are looking at to spend up to tonight.

The price tag on Josh Richardson is an absolute puzzle here. Richardson has played over 30 minutes in both games since Jaylen Brown has been sidelined, as he scored 22.5 FPTS in the first game and 28.5 FPTS last time out. Despite all of this, Richardson has gotten even cheaper for some reason as he only costs us $3,300 to draft tonight. Richardson looked fantastic last time out, so we expect he plays around 30 minutes again tonight. At this price Richardson really doesn’t need to do much to hit value for us, and it is very easy for him to have a good game with all this floor time.

Here’s a Fade DFS Basketball 11/12/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Ja Morant is coming off two massive games here, as he scored 56.5 and 57.75 FPTS respectively in his last two. Morant has been taking a big role for the Grizzlies this year, but it has led to a big price. Morant is $10,000 here, and he is looking at an ugly matchup against the Pheonix Suns. Some people may be looking to go back to Morant to ride the hot hand in this one, but we have no interest in this spot. Morant is as expensive as he will ever be, and he has a bad matchup. With eleven games to choose from, we know we want to go elsewhere. We have not missed on one of our fades yet this season, and we feel good about this one.

Point Guard

Jrue Holiday – PG ($6,600 DK) It has been a rough start to the season for Holiday, as we saw him dealing with some injuries early on. At this point Holiday appears to be clear of the injuries, as he has hit the thirty minute mark in his last three games. Holiday is still yet to put together a big game this season, but we expect him to hit a similar average as last year which was just shy of 40 FPTS a game. Holiday should be in for a nice boost as Khris Middleton remains out, and we have seen him take high usage in his time on the floor. There is a lot of upside for Holiday here, as he is going to turn around the season at some point.

Shooting Guard

Cade Cunningham  ($5,600 DK) The price is rising on Cunningham as he begins to approach an adequate price tag. However, Cunningham is still too cheap tonight for the role he is playing for Detroit. The Pistons are giving the rookie free reign with the ball, as we have seen him take 17 or 18 field goal attempts in each of his last three games. Cunningham has been playing about 30 minutes a night lately, and we have seen him score over 35 FPTS twice in his last two. The Pistons have an easy matchup with Cleveland, so we could see another big night from Cunningham.

Small Forward

Jayson Tatum  ($10,100 DK) Tatum is a fantastic DFS producer when Jaylen Brown is off the floor, and we know that Brown will remain out for tonight’s game. Tatum has scored over 50 FPTS in the last two games without Brown, as we have seen him have to put up a ton of shot attempts. Tatum is coming in at a good price here, as most of the other superstars we really like are over $11,000. The fact that a guy like Steph Curry is $1,500 more expensive then Tatum here makes Tatum look very enticing.

Power Forward

Anthony Davis – ($10,900 DKWe already mentioned that we are looking to the Lakers for spend up options tonight as James remains out. Davis is pretty cheap here if you look at his price relative to the other superstars on the slate, who are all above $11,000. Davis is much more productive a DFS producer in opportunities where James is off the floor, as we have seen a few big games from him recently. In the three healthy games he has played without James, Davis scored 50.25, 68.5 and 65 FPTS respectively. If He has been playing massive minutes lately, as the Lakers have been struggling whenever he goes to the bench. With an easy matchup against the Timberwolves tonight, we like betting on another big game from AD.

Center

Tony Bradley – ($3,000 DK) We are really interested in who starts at center for the Bulls tonight, as there will be a ton of minutes to fill in Vucevic’s absence. Bradley will be a priority for us if he ends up getting the start, as that gives us a lot of upside at the minimum price. We also really like getting to Alize Johnson if he ends up getting the start here at a similar price point.

General strategy

We have a lot of interesting plays all over this slate, as there is a lot going on between eleven games. As we have mentioned the number one thing we are waiting to hear right now is what ends up happening with the Bulls starters, as there is an opportunity to see a crazy value play from whoever starts at center. For Cash games tonight, we like playing both Westbrook and Davis with this matchup against Minnesota. We are also going to look to play whoever starts at center for the Bulls. If we don’t get that news before lock, we will probably put Johnson in at center so we can switch to Bradley if ends up with the start. For tournaments there are a lot of ways to go here, but we are looking for some Bulls value either way. We like taking shots on Zach Lavine and DeMar DeRozan to have a big game here for GPP’s, as they have a lot of upside with Vuc out. Keep an eye on the news and starting line ups tonight, as we are sure to hear something interesting with eleven games.
