We are following last nights monstrous thirteen game NBA DFS slate with a much smaller three gamer. This slate feels strange after spending yesterday trying to maneuver such a big slate with so many moving pieces. Tonight’s slate is a lot easier to handle, and it is going to be a lot less overwhelming to come up with a strong lineup. Injuries promise to give us a ton of value for this one, and the smaller slate size makes decisions a lot easier than they were last night. With all that said, a lot of what we are going to like tonight is hinging on some key injury news out of the Philadelphia 76ers tonight. Both Tobias Harris and Seth Curry are questionable to return to action, and whether they play will determine how much we like certain Sixers. Regardless, we will have a lot of value tonight regardless from Philadelphia and Toronto, who will be without Pascal Siakam. We will start off with two guys we know will be priorities no matter what happens, as well as one star we are passing on at the very top end. In our premium content we are going to focus on who we like whether Harris and Curry play, and how to position your lineup to win as news breaks.

Here’s Two Core Plays For DFS Basketball 11/11/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Point Guard
Shooting GuardG. Trent Jr. $3,400
Small Forward.
Power Forward
CenterA. Drummond $8,600
Guard
Forward
Utility

We already know that Pascal Siakam is not expected to play tonight, as he is just coming back from injury and the Raptors are on the tail end of a back to back. A lot of guys from Toronto look a lot better when Siakam is off the floor, as it guarantees massive minutes for the core group. Gary Trent is a priority for us from Toronto here at $5,000, as we know he is going to be in for a massive role. Trent has played somewhere in the range of 34 to 43 minutes in each of his last five games, and he has been getting up a ton of shots from Deep. Trent can hit value easily at this price point, and we always want guys with good upside. If Trent can put together a good shooting night he will give us massive value, and with only three games he could easily be a must have here.

Andre Drummond has been the guy for NBA DFS the past few slates with Joel Embiid out. Drummond is one of the best per minute fantasy producers in the NBA, and when Embiid is out he must carry the load for the entire Sixers frontcourt. Drummond has seen his price rise to $8,600 for tonight, but he is still easily the best play on this slate. Drummond has scored over 50 FPTS in every game that Embiid has sat this year, which is no surprise as he is forced to play nearly 40 minutes at center in those situations. Drummond has some really crazy upside in tonight’s matchup against Toronto, as the Raptors have been getting absolutely destroyed on the boards lately. The Raptors lack a big center right now and it is really showing on there rebounding. Drummond has grabbed 25 and 20 boards in the past two games, and we are expecting him to destroy Toronto tonight in that department.

Here’s a Fade DFS Basketball 11/11/21 (using DraftKings Values)

So far our faded have been pretty spot on, as we have identified three duds in our first three fades. For tonight, fading a guy is a bigger deal as we only have three games. With that said, we know one star we are passing on and that is Paul George. George has had easy matchups all year, as the Clippers have been up against some weak competition. Tonight, The Clippers play the Miami Heat who are one of the toughest defensive teams in the NBA. George is $10,200 here, so we are banking on him having a huge night if we pay for him. We would rather put our money into any of the other stars here, as Miami presents the toughest matchup on the slate.

Point Guard

Donovan Mitchell – PG ($9,000 DK) We don’t have too many studs to choose from tonight, and we already mentioned how much we dislike George in this spot. Mitchell has a fantastic matchup against the Indiana Pacers tonight, so he is a spend up option we will be getting a lot of here. This is a pretty good price for Mitchell as we expect his 42.7 FPT per game average to climb throughout the season. Mitchell does everything for the Jazz offense, and we are hoping his massive upside shows in this pace up spot.

Shooting Guard

Tyler Herro  ($6,100 DK) Herro looks fantastic tonight as he has seen a significant price drop since the last time out. This is the cheapest price Herro has had since the first game of the season, and it is not warranted as he is averaging 34.4 FPTS per game so far. Herro always takes up massive usage for the Heat guys, which means his upside is always great. We saw him put up 37.5 FPTS in 42 minutes last night, and we expect him to see a ton of floor time tonight as some of the older veterans may be limited on the back to back. If Jimmy Butler misses tonight all together, Herro becomes one of the best plays on the slate.

Small Forward

Duncan Robinson  ($3,800 DK) Duncan Robinson is looking like he might be the best play going into tonight’s DFS slate, which is not something we get to say often. Butler left last nights game twelve minutes in due to injury, which opened the door for Robinson to play a whopping 45 minutes. Robinson managed to put together 33.5 FPTS despite shooting 25 percent from the floor. If Butler cannot go tonight, Robinson is a lock for us at this price. Even if he can’t hit any shots he will be a decent value at this price if he plays 40 minutes, and he will be a must have here if his shots are falling.

Power Forward

Scottie Barnes – ($6,600 DKBarnes is coming in at a pretty good price tag here considering how productive he has been, especially with the news that Siakam is not expected to play. Barnes is averaging 34.3 FPTS per game so far this year, and that includes some less productive games at the start of the season. Khem Birch is also out for the Raptors tonight, so we expect Barnes to see more run in the front court then last time Siakam was out. Barnes is in position for a big rebounding night here, and he always gets a nice usage opportunity for Toronto.

Center

Bam Adebayo – ($7,400 DK) Adebayo is going to be an absolute priority for us tonight if Butler can’t play, but at this price point he looks fantastic regardless. Adebayo saw his highest usage game of the season last night with Butler out. As his season high 28 points lead to 58 FPTS. Butler’s absence is great for Adebayo’s upside as the Heat must look to him much more frequently for scoring. The Clippers are not too bad a matchup, and we are happy targeting them with centers.

General strategy

For a slate with only three games, we are waiting on a ton of news tonight, as we have some key guys who could be out. Starting with the Sixers, we know Drummond looks fantastic either way. For everyone else, they are a bit too expensive here if Harris and Curry are both good to go. If Curry and Harris both remain out for tonight we love getting back to Tyrese Maxey, Shake Milton and Furkan Korkmaz for this one. If Harris ends up out and Curry in, we like getting to Korkmaz but not Maxey or Milton. If Curry sits but not Harris, Korkmaz and Milton look ok but there is no absolute priorities other then Drummond. We are expecting to hear that Butler is not going to play tonight, as he got hurt in last nights game. If that is the case, we know we want to play Herro, Adebayo and Robinson. Kyle Lowry also looks fantastic tonight. One contrarian piece we want to mention is Precious Achiuwa, who we expect to see a ton of floor time with Birch and Siakam absent for Toronto. Achiuwa is going to be very low owned with Drummond and Adebayo tonight, so we like him as an option for large field GPP’s. For Cash games, our center and utility spot are going to Drummond and Adebayo. Keep an eye on the news here, as there are a few key pieces we are waiting on.
