After only five NBA games yesterday we are looking at a massive eleven-game DFS slate to break down for tonight. There is a lot going on here, as the injuries have really piled up towards the end of the season. One priority for us in terms of teams is the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are playing without Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley. We also really like Houston Rockets, who are missing a few key guys for a great matchup against the Kings. We are going for more of a balanced lineup tonight, as a few of our priorities fall in that $5,000 – $8,000 range.

Here’s Two Core Plays For DFS Basketball 3/30/22 (using DraftKings Values)

Point Guard
Shooting GuardC. LeVert $5,900
Small Forward
Power ForwardK. Love $6,900
Center
Guard
Forward
Utility

There is going to be a lot of usage going around on the Cavaliers, as they do not have many scorers with their starting bigs out. Caris LeVert is only $5,900 here, and we expect him to see a massive role in this starting spot. LeVert shot the ball 15 times last game, and he could do even more tonight with Mobley out. LeVert has massive upside here, and we really do not have to pay much for it.

The Cleveland Cavalier’s frontcourt is usually stacked, but they are going to be thin on center options with Mobley and Allen out. We expect Kevin Love to get the nod at center tonight, which is a massive boost in terms of DFS production. Love is priced at $6,900 here, which we are happy to pay given the situation. We are eager to see if Love gets the start here, as we would be interested in Moses Brown if ends up in the starting spot.

Here’s a Fade DFS Basketball 3/30/22 (using DraftKings Values)

With eleven games and only nine roster spots, we are never going to be able to get to everyone on these giant slates. One guy we are going to be fading here is Jayson Tatum who is looking at one of his highest prices of the season at $10,500. Tatum is averaging 47.3 FPTS on the season, so we need a big game from him at this price. With the Celtics facing off against the Miami Heat, we are happy to take our salary elsewhere.

Point Guard

Kevin Porter Jr. – ($7,000 DK) We really like getting to this Rockets – Kings matchup for DFS, as it promises to be a fast-paced shootout. The Rockets are missing a few guys here, so they look very promising in terms of value. Porter Jr. was amazing last time out with 52.75 FPTS, as he had to do everything for this team offensively.

Shooting Guard

Deni Avdija – ($5,300 DK) We have been getting to Avdija a lot lately, as he has been consistently crushing value with Kuzma off the floor. Avdija provided another nice performance last time out with 32.5 FPTS, as he remains too cheap at $5,300 here. Avdija has gone over 30 FPTS in five out of six games with Kuzma off the floor, so he looks fantastic at this price point.

Small Forward

RJ Barrett – ($8,100 DK) We are happy to get some exposure to the Knicks tonight as they take on the fast-paced Charlotte Hornets, and Barrett is our favorite way to do that. Barrett has been one of the highest usage guys in the entire NBA since the all-star break, as he has stepped into a massive role as the number one scorer on the Knicks. Barrett has a ton of upside from all the shots he takes, and this is a great spot to bet on his showing it.

Power Forward

KJ Martin – ($3,600 DK) The Houston Rockets are missing center Christian Wood tonight, and we just got the news that Alperen Sengun is doubtful as well. Martin should be in for plenty of run tonight, and at $3,600 we really do not need him to do much. We are interested in seeing who starts for the Rockets here, but Martin looks solid regardless.

Center

Al Horford– ($7,300 DK) The Celtics will remain without Robert Williams for the near future, which means Horford should be sliding up to the center. We expect him to see some extra floor time, and he is playing a more productive role with Williams off the floor.

General strategy

We are going to have to keep track of the news tonight, as with eleven games we can be sure that some more guys are going to be ruled out. With that said we already have a ton of value for this one. Our strategy for Cash games is going to be locking in a few guys from the Cavaliers and the Rockets. We are not going to worry too much about getting contrarian here, as people will be taking there lineups in different directions with all these options.
