NBA DFS Advice for March 29, 2022

There are only nine NBA games tonight, but there is no shortage of DFS value with a few key injuries on this slate. The Los Angeles Lakers are going to be a priority for us tonight, as Lebron James is expected to miss another game. We also really like getting to the Washington Wizards, where a few guys remain to be priced up in massive roles without Kyle Kuzma on the floor. We are going to a stars and scrubs lineup here, as we have some great budget options from the Lakers and Wizards.

Here’s Two Core Plays For DFS Basketball 3/29/22 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardL. Doncic $11,400
Shooting Guard
Small Forward
Power ForwardC. Anthony $4,600
Center
Guard
Forward
Utility

We have a lot of cheap options available tonight, so we are going to have the salary to plug in a few superstars. One guy we are all over is Luka Doncic, who is looking at a fantastic matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers. Doncic always does just about everything for this Dallas offense, which means he has the upside to go for huge DFS performances. Doncic is priced at $11,400 tonight, and it is not hard for us to roster him here.

We saw the Lakers play without James a few games ago against the 76ers, and there was a nice opportunity for Carmelo Anthony. Anthony played 31 minutes and was one of the Lakers top options with 15 shot attempts. He was solid with 29.75 FPTS, with the upside for a lot more. Anthony is only $4,600 here, so he is going to be a budget priority for us.

Here’s a Fade DFS Basketball 3/29/22 (using DraftKings Values)

Kyrie Irving has been cooling down after a few massive games, but his price is still sky-high. Irving is all the way up at $10,800 for tonight, so we need a massive performance for him to come out as a winning play. We have a lot of other options for cheaper tonight, so we will be passing on Irving.

Point Guard

Malik Monk – ($5,200 DK) Monk has emerged as one of the top options on the Lakers lately, and the role he took on without James last time was immense. Monk shot the ball 20 times in 32 minutes that game, to go for 33 FPTS. He has a ton of upside in this spot, and at $5,200 his floor is amazing with all this usage.

Shooting Guard

Corey Kispert – ($3,900 DK) Kispert is one of the many Wizards that we have been rostering a lot lately with Kyle Kuzma sidelined. Kispert played a whopping 41 minutes last time out, as he provided some great value with 33.25 FPTS. Kispert has gotten even cheaper tonight, so he is in a fantastic spot. The Wizards have a solid matchup against the Bulls here, and the Rookie should see a solid run regardless of if this stays close.

Small Forward

Deni Avdija – ($5,100 DK) We are surprised that Avdija has not been priced up more significantly for this one, as he has been dynamic with Kuzma off the floor. He has gone over 30 FPTS in four out of the past five outings, and he showed 40 FPT upside two games ago. He has been taking some solid usage while doing a little bit of everything in terms of peripheral stats.

Power Forward

Marvin Bagley – ($5,900 DK) Bagley has been showing a lot of upside since joining the Detroit Pistons, going over 37 FPTS in back-to-back games. The Pistons are missing Jerami Grant tonight, so we are confident that Bagley sees some solid floor time. This is a great matchup against the Nets, so we are betting on another big night from Bagley.

Center

Rudy Gobert – ($7,300 DK) Gobert was sidelined last time out and is questionable for tonight. If we get the news that he is good to go here, we really like to roster him at only $7,300. Gobert is averaging 41.1 FPTS on the season, so this is a fantastic price. If Gobert is ruled out again, we are going to be rostering Juancho Hernangomez at $4,000, as he will be the last healthy center on this squad.

General strategy

Our approach for Cash games on this slate is going to build around the injuries on the Lakers and the Wizards, as that is where we have the most obvious value tonight. With only five games we will have to go more contrarian for big tournaments, as most of our priorities will be a bit higher owned. We are waiting to see if Zach Lavine is ruled out tonight, as DeMar DeRozan would be a priority if that is the case.
