We are back with another massive 12-gamer tonight, as there is a lot we need to talk about for this one. We have a ton of value on this slate, along with some fantastic spend-up options. As a result, we can make a pretty great stars and scrubs lineup with a ton of upside. There is a lot that stands out tonight, but one team we must start with is the Utah Jazz. The Jazz are without Donovan Mitchell tonight, so they look fantastic here.

Here’s Two Core Plays For DFS Basketball 3/16/22 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardF. VanVleet $7,600
Shooting Guard
Small ForwardC. Kispert $3,400
Power Forward
Center
Guard
Forward
Utility

Fred VanVleet has had a few bad shooting nights lately, which has caused his price to plummet all the way down to $7,600. VanVleet continues to play a massive role as the first option on the Raptors, so we are happy getting to him at this price. The Raptors play against the Lakers tonight, who have become one of the best matchups to target in DFS. VanVleet has a ton of upside at this price, which is what we are looking for on bigger slates.

With all the great studs tonight, we are looking for some cheaper plays. One guy who looks fantastic is Corey Kispert at $3,400, as the rookie is playing a huge role for the price. Kispert has played 34 or more minutes in three of his last four games, usually seeing solid usage in his time on the floor. He has gone over 20 FPTS in each of those games, so he is too cheap tonight.

Here’s a Fade DFS Basketball 3/18/22 (using DraftKings Values)

A lot of the studs look really good tonight price-wise, so we have to be pretty specific with who we spend up for. Russell Westbrook is an easy fade for us tonight, as he should be much cheaper than $8,300 given his recent production. Westbrook has only gone over 40 FPTS once in the last month and a half, so you are really hoping for an outlier at this price.

Here Is What Your Get If You Subscribe For $15 Per Month or $99 For The Year…
• A budget guard we are locking in tonight.
• One star taking on extra usage right now.
• A few forward options with massive upside.
• Some questionable tags we are watching tonight.

Point Guard

Nickeil Alexander-Walker – ($3,100 DK) As we mentioned in our introduction, the Jazz are the best source of value on this slate. Alexander-Walker played 22 minutes last game with Mitchell limited to 29, so we expect him to see some nice run tonight. NAW put up 26 FPTS in the last game, which is fantastic value at this price point. His upside is great here, and he is way too cheap given the situation.

Shooting Guard

Devin Booker- ($9,100 DK) We have been all over Booker since his return, and he has been fantastic with Chris Paul off the floor. Booker has gone for 50 or more FPTS for three straight games, so it was a surprise to see him this cheap tonight. He has a ton of upside against Chicago tonight, and it is easy to squeeze him in at $9,100.

Small Forward

RJ Barrett – ($7,900 DK) We have been getting to Barrett a lot lately, even as his price has risen. Barrett has become one of the best DFS producers in the league lately, as his usage has been massive. Barrett typically shoots the balls over twenty times on any given night, which gives him the upside to explode in DFS.

Power Forward

Jayson Tatum – ($9,500 DK) We love getting to Tatum tonight, as he is in a perfect situation for DFS. His price has fallen to $9,500, even though he has gone for 50 or more FPTS in five of the past six games. Tatum has shown fantastic upside lately, going over 60 FPTs a few times in that span. The Celtics have a great matchup tonight against the Kings, so Tatum checks every box here.

Center

Andre Drummond – ($5,400 DK) Drummond has shown some fantastic upside lately, as he is the starting center for the Brooklyn Nets. Drummond is a guy who can produce big numbers in very few minutes, which is what we have been seeing. Drummond went for 39.25 FPTS last game, and he has been showing huge nights since joining the Nets. He does have a low floor due to his lack of consistent minutes, so he is more of a GPP priority for us.

General strategy

There is already a lot of value on this slate, but more could open with some key questionable tags. Trae Young could sit tonight for the Hawks, which would make Delon Wright, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Kevin Huerter all become priorities. We also have a questionable tag on De’Aaron Fox here. If Fox sits then Davion Mitchell would be one of our favorite options for value. Keep an eye on the news tonight, as we expect some guys to be ruled out with twelve games.
