We have a massive nine-game slate to break down for tonight, as there are a lot of moving parts to talk about here. It is expected that Reggie Jackson may rest tonight, so we are eagerly watching for that. We will be all over the Clippers if Jackson sits, so we will go over some potential priorities from Los Angeles. We will also discuss some of our favorite plays with all the news that is already confirmed.

Here’s Two Core Plays For DFS Basketball 3/14/22 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardS. Gilgeous-Alexander $10,400
Shooting Guard
Small Forward
Power Forward
CenterD. Eubanks $5,600
Guard
Forward
Utility

The price has come up on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but that is for good reason as he has been incredibly productive with Josh Giddy sidelined. SGA is taking crazy usage right now, which has led to some massive performances over the past few weeks. OKC has a fantastic matchup against the Charlotte Hornets tonight, so this is a great time to bet on a big game from Gilgeous-Alexander.

The Portland Trailblazers remain absolutely gutted here, however many of their players have been priced up significantly. The tag on Drew Eubanks has risen to $5,600 here, but we still really like him given what we saw last time out. Eubanks started at the four last games, and that allowed him to play 39 minutes. He was fantastic with 42.5 FPTS, as he put up 20 and 12 in all that time on the floor.

Here’s a Fade DFS Basketball 3/14/22 (using DraftKings Values)

With nine games we are never going to be able to get to all the stars, as we only have so much salary. One guy we are fully fading is De’Aaron Fox, who may pull some ownership tonight given his great production as of late. Fox is only averaging 38.7 FPTs on the season, so this $9,700 price tag is buying high on him. With all the stars we can pay for tonight it is hard to justify paying all the way up for Fox.

Point Guard

LaMelo Ball – ($8,500 DK) We expect this OKC – Charlotte game to be a fast-paced shootout, so we really like targeting it for DFS. We are very high on the Thunder side of this game, so we want some exposure to the Hornets as well. Ball is a fantastic tournament option, as he always has some of the best upside on any slate. This is a great price to be paying for him, especially given the easy matchup.

Shooting Guard

Tre Mann – ($5,200 DK) The Thunder have been dealing with massive injuries for a little while now, so we have seen some massive opportunities for Mann. Mann has shown a ton of variance in his production over the past few months, which is what we are looking for when trying to take down GPPs. Mann will start tonight, and we expect him to see a lot of shots against the Hornets. He always has a ton of upside with a good shooting night, which we need on a bigger slate like this.

Small Forward

Amir Coffey – ($3,700 DK) We need to hear what happens with Jackson here, as that will define how we are handling this Clippers squad. We like Coffey either way if he starts, as he is coming in at only $5,200 here. Coffey has not been great lately, but he has played 36 minutes in each of the past two games. If that floor time continues he looks amazing if he is under $4,000.

Power Forward

Nicolas Batum – ($4,500 DK) We just found out that both Jackson and Marcus Morris are going to be sidelined tonight for the Clippers. There is a ton of value coming out of Los Angeles with this news, as we will be plugging these guys in for cash games. Batum should play a ton of run tonight, as we expect him to be in the starting unit. All the high-usage guys are out, so the upside is there for everyone who plays.

Center

Nikola Vucevic – ($8,500 DK) Vucevic is often too expensive for us in DFS this year, as there are a lot of cooks in the Kitchen for the Bulls. However, the price has come down to $8,500 on Vucevic here, which is one of the cheaper tags we have seen on him in a while. He has a dream matchup against the Kings tonight, so we are hoping to see that great upside Vucevic has.

General strategy

We just found out that Morris and Jackson will be resting, which means the Clippers are our favorite team to target tonight. Terance Mann and Amir Coffey are complete locks for us, while Batum and Luke Kennard both look very strong as well. We are curious to see who ends up starting here for the Clippers, as their starting backcourt will be easy priorities. Good luck tonight, and make sure not to miss any other news that may break.
