We have seven games to break down tonight, with a good amount of value spread across this slate. We are looking at more of a stars and scrubs lineup tonight, as we have a few priorities under $4,000 and lots of studs that we want to try and squeeze in. We are also waiting on a few key questionable tags for tonight, which we will cover later in our premium content.

Here are Two Core Plays For DFS Basketball 3/12/22 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardM. Conley $5,400
Shooting Guard
Small Forward
Power ForwardE. Mobley $7,400
Center
Guard
Forward
Utility

The Utah Jazz are in a great spot tonight, with a dream matchup against the Sacramento Kings. We like getting to all the big pieces from Utah here, especially if we get the news that Bojan Bogdanovic is going to remain sidelined. Regardless, Mike Conley looks fantastic at only $5,400. Conley went over 30 FPTS last night despite only shooting 2/14 from the field, and we know he usually plays a solid role on this squad. He is averaging 28.6 FPTS on the season, and his upside is good for this price point.

Another team that we really like getting to for tonight is the Cleveland Cavaliers, where a few guys have seen a nice bump with Jarrett Allen on the sideline. Evan Mobley has taken over as the clear center on this team, and it is showing in his stats. Mobley has been taking solid usage over the past few games, and his rebounding has been phenomenal. He has scored 53.25, 55, and 45 FPTS respectively over the past three games, as he was even able to hit that 45 FPT mark against the Miami Heat. With an easier matchup against the Bulls tonight are expectations are high, and Mobley looks amazing at $7,500.

Here’s a Fade DFS Basketball 3/12/22 (using DraftKings Values)

There are a lot of options at the top end tonight, so guys have to really stand out for us to spend up for them. One easy fade for us here is Karl-Anthony Towns. Towns is too expensive at $10,600, as he is only averaging 47 FPTS on the season and that price is too close to the top guys like Nikola Jokic. Towns also has a miserable matchup against Miami tonight, so he is an easy fade.

Here Is What Your Get If You Subscribe For $15 Per Month or $99 For The Year… • Two star guards we are spending up for. • One value priority that has been playing an increasing role. • A cheap center with a nice upside. • Our thoughts on the Miami news that just broke.   Sign up here!

Point Guard

Fred VanVleet – ($8,000 DK) VanVleet has played two games since returning from injury, but he has not missed a beat in terms of floor time. VanVleet is only $8,000 here, which is the cheapest he has been since November. He is averaging 42.3 FPTS per game, and he has massive upside. VanVleet can always take over and go over 50 FPTS, and a big game from him would go far at only $8,000.

Shooting Guard

Tyrese Haliburton – ($9,000 DK) We know that Malcolm Brogdon is sidelined for the Pacers tonight, so they look great with this matchup against the Spurs. Haliburton has the ball in his hands a lot when Brogdon is off the floor, as his usage and assist rates get very high. His upside is amazing in this spot, especially in this fast-paced matchup.

Small Forward

Josh Richardson – ($3,600 DK) Richardson started the last game for the Spurs, and he played 34 minutes. He provided some nice value with 23.5 FPTS. If we find out that Richardson will start again tonight, we really like getting to him for value.

Power Forward

Rui Hachimura – ($3,400 DK) We really want to fit three or four stars into our lineup tonight, so we need some cheap options in order to save the salary. Hachimura missed most of the season, but his role has been trending upwards. He has gone over 25 FPTS in back-to-back games, so he is starting to get enticing as he remains so cheap.

Center

Daniel Gafford – ($3,600 DK) Gafford is consistently playing around 20 minutes right now, which is more than enough time for him to hit value at this price point. He is averaging 21.8 FPTS across the past ten days, as we do not need much from him to fit into our lineups. His upside is solid here, especially if he starts to get more run.

General strategy

We just got a ton of news from the Miami Heat, like Jimmy Butler, Victor Oladipo, and Caleb Martin are all sidelined. We Love Miami with this news, especially with a great matchup against Minnesota. Kyle Lowry, Duncan Robinson, Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo, and Max Strus all look good here. The Heat will be our priorities for Cash Games tonight. Some other news we are waiting on is from Chicago, where Zach Lavine and Nikola Vucevic are both questionable. We will be getting to a lot of DeMar DeRozan as a spend-up option if they both sit.
