After only two NBA games last night, we are following up with a huge ten-gamer for tonight. There is a lot for us to talk about here, as we have a ton of value throughout the slate. We are looking at a stars and scrubs style lineup here, as there are some great options at the top and bottom end of the slate. The team we will be looking to for value tonight is the New Orleans Pelicans, who are missing both CJ McCollum and Brandon Ingram.

Here’s Two Core Plays For DFS Basketball 3/11/22 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardD. Graham $4,300
Shooting GuardD. Booker $8,900
Small Forward
Power Forward
Center
Guard
Forward
Utility

We saw McCollum play 38.1 minutes and take 27 shot attempts last time out with Ingram off the floor, so there is a ton of usage table with them both sidelined. One guy we are all over here is Devonte Graham, who we expect to take on a nice role here. He should be the Pelicans starting point guard, and one of their top options on the offensive end. Graham is only $4,300 here, so he is a no-brainer for us.

The Phoenix Suns are still without Chris Paul and Cameron Johnson, so there is a good amount of value here. Devin Booker came back from health protocols last game, and he was phenomenal with 55.5 FPTS. Booker always has the ball in his hands when Chris Paul is not available, and his assist rate is fantastic. Booker is coming in at a great price of $8,900 here, so he is one of our favorite options to spend up for.

Here’s a Fade DFS Basketball 3/11/22 (using DraftKings Values)

We have a ton of guards to spend up for tonight, so we have pretty high standards in that department. One guy we are getting away from tonight is Dejounte Murray who is as expensive as we are ever going to see him at $11,000. Murray has a tough matchup against Utah, so we are fading him in favor of some other studs.

Here Is What Your Get If You Subscribe For $15 Per Month or $99 For The Year…

• Two cheap wings we are using to save salary.
• One stud center we are all over tonight.
• A few key questionable tags we are watching here.

Point Guard

LaMelo Ball – ($8,600 DK) We are getting to a lot of guys on the Pelicans side of this game, so we really like getting to Ball to give us a win condition if this is high scoring. Ball is one of the best upside guys in the entire NBA, as we know he can explode for massive triple-doubles. The Pelicans are an easy matchup and Ball is coming in pretty cheap here, so there is a lot to like.

Shooting Guard

Donovan Mitchell – ($8,600 DK) The Utah Jazz have a fantastic matchup against the San Antonio Spurs tonight, who are one of the fastest-paced teams in the NBA. Mitchell is coming in at a solid price here, so we really like getting to him given the matchup. We are fitting in three or four of these cheaper stars tonight, so Mitchell is a great fit for us.

Small Forward

Trey Murphy – ($3,000 DK) Murphy was recalled from the G-league before last game, and he played 24 minutes without Ingram on the floor. With McCollum sidelined tonight as well we expect Murphy to see even more run, so he looks solid at the minimum price. Murphy does have a low floor, but he has also shown some upside this season when he gets the chance. We are watching to see who starts here, as we may look to another value option like Naji Marshall or Herbert Jones if they are in the starting unit.

Power Forward

Moritz Wagner – ($3,500 DK) Wagner has been great lately, and we can really use the salary savings we get from this $3,500 price tag. He has gone over 20 FPTs in three straight games, as he is averaging over 28 FPTs across the past ten days. Wagner is not the most exciting play, but he allows us to squeeze in a ton of upside elsewhere.

Center

Jonas Valanciunas – ($7,800 DK) Valanciunas is one of our favorite options on took 20 shots last game, which led to a whopping 62.25 FPTS. With McCollum sidelined Valanciunas should take massive usage, not to mention this dream matchup against Charlotte.

General strategy

We have a few key questionable tags on this slate, that could create some priorities outside of New Orleans. One guy we are watching is Christian Wood as his absence led to a 50 FPT performance from Alperen Sengun last game. We are going straight back to Sengun if Wood remains out. Another guy we are watching is Jimmy Butler, as Kyle Lowry and Tyler Herro will look great if Butler sits.
