We have another three-game NBA slate tonight, as the first round of the playoffs continues to boil down. This is an interesting slate, and we do have some key injuries going on here. We still really like how a few of the Chicago Bulls are priced tonight, and the Phoenix Suns are also a priority with Devin Booker sidelined.

Khris Middleton suffered a sprained MCL in the last game, and he is going to be sidelined for the next two weeks. There are going to be a lot of minutes and usage going around for the Bucks in Middleton’s absence, so they look fantastic for DFS tonight. Pat Connaughton is a priority here at $4,000, as we expect him to see massive floor time in Middleton’s absence. We do not need much at $4,000 in the playoffs, and Connaughton has solid upside given the situation.
We have been getting to Nikola Vucevic a lot tonight, as he has been cheap and taking on a huge role this series. Vucevic has played 36 and 39 minutes in the past two games, going for 47.75 and 56.75 FPTS respectively. Vucevic averaged over 41 FPTS on the season, and his usage has been a lot higher since the playoffs started. He is still too cheap here, as he has been able to do very well with this matchup.
Here’s a Fade DFS Basketball 4/22/22 (using DraftKings Values)
There are some fantastic spend-up options tonight, so we have very high standards for the guys we spend up to. Brandon Ingram is coming off a giant 69.3 FPT performance, but he has been priced all the way up to $9,000. Ingram is going to be a fade here for us tonight, as we can get better or similar producers for significantly cheaper.

Point Guard
Chris Paul – ($8,900 DK) Paul is expensive here tonight at $8,900, but we are still interested given the situation with Booker off the floor. Paul should have the ball in his hands a ton without Booker, and we know he has a lot of upside. Paul has been playing massive minutes this series, and his usage should be high with Booker off the floor.
Shooting Guard
Zach LaVine – ($7,300 DK) LaVine looks fantastic at $7,300 here, despite only going for 27.3 FPTS in the last game. LaVine averaged 38.8 FPTS per game on the season this season, and he is averaging 40 minutes a game so far this series. Lavine has a ton of upside as a player, and a big game would be massive for us at this price point.
Bogdan Bogdanovic – ($5,500 DK) Bogdanovic was a priority for us last time out, and he ended up crushing with 40.75 FPTS. He took some massive usage last game, and we expect him to do a lot in any game that stays close. Bogdanovic is a great upside guy, and he is still cheap here at $5,500.
John Collins – ($5,900 DK) Collins returned from an extended injury absence for game one of this series, in which he played 21 minutes. He was able to get all the way up to 29 minutes last game, and we expect to play even more tonight. Collins looks great here at $5,900, especially with Clint Capela sidelined for the Hawks. We would expect a healthy Collins to play a ton of minutes in this spot, and he is definitely getting there.
Center
Bam Adebayo – ($7,000 DK) Adebayo is currently questionable for tonight, so we have to watch the news there to make sure he plays. However, at only $7,000 Adebayo is an absolute priority for us if he ends up on the court. He averaged about 40 FPTS per game this season, and he has a good matchup against the Hawks.
General strategy
Our favorite team to get to for Cash games tonight is going to be the Milwaukee Bucks, as they look the best where they are priced with Middleton out. Antetokounmpo and Connaughton both look great here, and we also like getting to Jrue Holiday. For tournaments tonight we like getting to CJ McCollum and Jonas Valanciunas as they both have a ton of upside and should be low owned here.
