The NASCAR Cup Series continues with its fourth installment. The Pennzoil 400 will be at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. As a bi-annual race, last year’s two winners were Home Town hero Kurt Busch and Joey Logano. There are only six drivers who have won at Las Vegas in their careers; Brad Keselowski (3), Kevin Harvick (2), Martin Truex Jr (2), Joey Logano (2), Kurt Busch (1), and Kyle Busch (1). Each of the six drivers who have won in the past has an excellent chance to win again.

Below is a lineup that we believe can provide the best value for the Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on 03/07/2021 (DraftKings Values)

Driver #1Kevin Harvick $ 9,700
Driver #2  $ 8,800
Driver #3Aric Almirola $ 8,600
Driver #4Christopher Bell $ 7,700
Driver #5  $ 7,800
Driver #6  $ 7,400

Below is a lineup that we believe can provide the best value for the Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on 03/07/2021 (Fanduel Values)

Driver #1Kevin Harvick $ 14,000
Driver #2  $ 10,500
Driver #3  $ 9,500
Driver #4Christopher Bell $ 8,500
Driver #5Aric Almirola $ 7,500

Kevin Harvick: There is a reason Kevin Harvick commands the high price point for the Pennzoil 400. Harvick has one win, three top-five finishes, five top 10 finishes, and has led a series most 455 laps in the last three years at Las Vegas. Harvick leads the Cup Series with laps led in a career at this race track by a long shot; he has 679 laps led in his career. Harvick will start the race in the Pole position. There will likely be plenty of opportunities for Harvick to lead a majority of this race. We all know what happens more times than not when Harvick is in the front of the field. They do not call him “the closer” for no reason.

Aric Almirola: In his fourth year with Stewart-Haas Racing, Aric Almirola is looking for his first top 10 finish outside of his first-place finish in the Bluegreen Vacations Duel One at Daytona. At Las Vegas Almirola has an average finish of 12.33 in the last six races at the track. In those six races, he has three top 10 finishes and has led five laps. At intermediate tracks, Almirola has two top-five finishes in his career.

Christopher Bell: Driving the number 20 for Joe Gibbs Racing, Christopher Bell is one of three drivers who have already punched their playoff tickets with already securing a win this year. Bell got his career win earlier this year on the Daytona Road Course. Bell has raced twice at Las Vegas in the Cup Series where he has not finished very well. However, in four races in the Xfinity Series at Las Vegas, Bell has two second-place, a fourth-place and a 13th place finish. Bell has two top-five finishes this year, there is no reason he cannot get another one on Sunday.

Below is a lineup that we believe can provide the best value for the Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on 03/07/2021 (Fanduel Values)

Driver #1Kevin Harvick $ 14,000
Driver #2Kyle Busch $ 10,500
Driver #3Alex Bowman $ 9,500
Driver #4Christopher Bell $ 8,500
Driver #5Aric Almirola $ 7,500

Kyle Busch: As one of the best and most streaky drivers I do not see why Kyle Busch cannot find his way into victory lane for the second time this year (yes, the first was exhibition) and also for the second time at Las Vegas. Busch is also only one of six active drivers who have won on this racecourse. Busch had a very disappointing year as per his standards and I believe that 2021 will be his redemption tour. Busch has, two top-five finishes, four top 10 finishes, and has led 30 laps at Las Vegas in the last three years. No reason he cannot win another one after starting this race in the 14thposition.

Alex Bowman: At his current price point I think that Alex Bowman is a great “bang for your buck” pick this week. Bowman has had a really fast car this year, and has just had really bad luck. Bowman had a really good race last weekend where he turned a 13th place start into a 19th place finish at Homestead-Miami. In the last three years Bowman has one top-five finish, two top 10 finishes, and has led six laps at Las Vegas in the last three years. I like the value here and you don’t see value like this often. Bowman’s Hendricks Chevrolet Camaro has been really fast the last couple of years. Bowman should be able to improve from his ninth place start in this race.

Chase Briscoe: I am very excited to see what rookie Chase Briscoe can do in this Number 14 Stuart Haas Racing Ford this season. He has not had the success I thought he might have had out of the gun, but he will come around. Briscoe finished his Xfinity career in 2020 with nine wins, four more then the five-race goal that he set for himself. Briscoe has shown so far that he may need a couple of races to adjust to the new challenges that driving in the Cup Series presents, however, his 2020 success could indicate otherwise. In 2020 Briscoe won both Xfinity Series races at Las Vegas. In the 2019 Xfinity Series Briscoe finished eighth and 11th in two races. Chase will be a lock-in consideration for the Sunoco Rookie of the Year award and could very well be in the mix for a playoff spot in 2021. Look for him to have a good race this weekend.

Austin Dillon: Richard Childress Racing had some really good cars on intermediate tracks in 2020. Austin Dillon finished the 2020 version of this race in fourth place. In six races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Dillon has one to-five finish and has led three laps. Dillon will look to get back to the success he had at Daytona earlier this year where he won the Bluegreen Vacations Duel Two and finished third in the Daytona 500. He will start 12th this week and if he and his team can keep up their solid efforts from intermediate tracks from last year there is no reason why Dillon cannot add another top 10 finish.
