As we head into Texas Race week, we will have to look at drivers’ stats at Texas Motor Speedway and history from other courses as we build our lineup this week. Another great part about this weekend is we are back to practice and qualifying. This week we are going to focus on finding value by looking at previous top contenders at this speedway. There are quite a few value drivers that you can insert into your lineup. Let’s now take a deep dive into who I think you can insert into your lineup for the Alsco Uniforms 250 Powered by Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen at Texas Motor Speedway.

Below is a lineup that we believe can provide the best value for the Alsco Uniforms 250 at Texas Motor Speedway on 06/12/2021 (DraftKings Values)

Driver #1AJ Allmendinger $ 10,500
Driver #2Justin Allgaier $ 9,900
Driver #3
Driver #4
Driver #5  $ 7,100
Driver #6Brandon Brown $ 6,700

AJ Allmendinger ($10,500)

In his first full time season in the Xfinity Series, AJ Allmendinger has been excellent. In 14 races Allmendinger has two wins, eight top five finishes, and has led 127 laps. Roughly the same totals he had in 2020 in the Xfinity Series where he had two wins, six top five finishes, eight top 10 finishes and led 210 laps in 11 races. Of Allmendinger’s seven wins in all three NASCAR Series, five of them have been at road courses. In the Xfinity Series he has won at the Charlotte Roval twice, Elkhart Lake once, and Mid-Ohio twice. In the Cup series his only win came at Watkins Glen. Allmendinger seems like a sure bet to be in the running this weekend, especially after how well he has raced this year. Allmendinger has the pole this weekend so that means he could jump out to a lead early and lead a lot of laps. I think like Cindric, Allmendinger is almost a sure bet to win this thing. Try everything you can to fit one of them into your lineup this weekend.

Justin Allgaier ($9,900)

Of all the top tier, high priced drivers this week, I like Justin Allgaier a lot. Not only because I think he can win, but also because of his relatively lower price point. With Allgaier coming in at $9,900, you get a lot more flexibility in your lineup as opposed to inserting a second driver over the $11,000 mark against your $50,000 budget. At Texas in 2020 Allgaier finished third in the first race and 26thin the second race. Coming into this race you know that he will be out to win this one. Allgaier comes into this race with two wins already in the 2021 season at Atlanta Motor Speedway and Darlington Raceway, both being intermediate tracks. After a bit of a rocky start to the season, Allgaier really turned it around at Atlanta and Darlington. Look for a similar performance for Allgaier Saturday night.

Brandon Brown ($6,700)

Before the start of this season Brandon Brown only had one top-five finish and seven top 10 finishes to his name on the Xfinity Series. Now after a hot start to the 2021 season Brown has almost matched and beat his season career performance in 14 races. So far, this year Brown has two top-five finishes at Phoenix Raceway and Charlotte Motor Speedway. To go along with back to back top 10 finishes at the two Daytona tracks and seven top 10 finishes total. Brown is also on a two race hot-streak where he has finished fourth and sixth in back to back races. Brown will start the race in the seventh spot, he is a top 10 option this week, if you ask me. I see this as a great opportunity for Brown to get another top 10 finish. This may even be in the realm of a safe pick this week especially for his dollar value. He is driving well and could be in for a top-five finish again this week. I don’t think you can go wrong with Brown in your lineup this week. Brown offers a lot of flexibility with his price tag.

Below is a lineup that we believe can provide the best value for the Alsco Uniforms 250 at Texas Motor Speedway on 06/12/2021 (DraftKings Values)

Driver #1AJ Allmendinger $ 10,500
Driver #2Justin Allgaier $ 9,900
Driver #3Jeb Burton $ 8,300
Driver #4Myatt Snider $ 7,500
Driver #5Jeremy Clements $ 7,100
Driver #6Brandon Brown $ 6,700

Jeb Burton ($8,300)

I mentioned earlier that I thought there was incredible value in this race, well here is one of the drivers who I think comes extremely cheap for how optimistic I am for their chances to race well this week. Jeb Burton has had an excellent start to the 2021 season where he has one win, four top-five finishes and eight top 10 finishes. If you take out his 25th place finish at Atlanta and 20th place finish at Darlington, his only blunders, he has an average finish this year of 7.9. Now if you want to include every race, you also get a very nice number, of 10.15. Talk about a great start to the year. Burton will race at Texas for the fifth time over the last three years, where previously in four races he has one top five finish and three top 10 finishes. Burton has really come into his own this year after finally becoming a full-time driver in the Xfinity Series. Burton is going to have plenty of opportunity to contend for another top-five finish.

Myatt Snider ($7,500)

As one of seven drivers to clinch their spot into the playoffs this year with a win, Myatt Snider is trending to have his best year yet. In his first fulltime season in 2020, Snider had two top-five finishes and six top 10 finishes. So far in 2021, Snider has one win and three top 10 finishes. Snider is trending in the right direction. Snider has raced at Texas twice in the Xfinity Series and the results have been less than satisfactory, but I think he can turn it around, especially with him starting 17ththis weekend. Snider should be able to race to another top 10 finish this weekend. Keep in mind that Snider’s win this year was at a comparable course in Homestead-Miami.

Jeremy Clements ($7,100)

Driving the Number 51 Chevrolet Camaro for JC Racing, Jeremy Clements comes into this race poised to add another top 10 finish to his racing career. In the 2020 season, Clements finished with one top-five finish, five top 10 finishes, and led 12 laps. Clements got his first and only career Xfinity win in 2017 at Elkhart Lake. So far in 2021 Clements has five top 10 finishes at the Daytona Road Course, Homestead-Miami, Phoenix, Darlington, and Charlotte. Clements has finished top 20 in all races but three races this year. Clements finished 11th in this race last year. This is a very sneaky high potential pick this week that could pay huge dividends. And especially for this low cost.
