Short and simple is the plan for tonight’s two NASCAR Bluegreen Vacations Duels. Each field was created by separating the odd and even place finishers from Qualifying on Wednesday. Drivers will have their first crack at season points tonight. The duels are always fun every year as the drivers look to shake off the offseason rust.

Below is a lineup that we believe can provide the best value for the Bluegreen Vacation Duel #1 at Daytona International Speedway on 02/11/2021 (DraftKings Values)

Driver #1  $ 10,100
Driver #2Denny Hamlin $ 9,800
Driver #3Tyler Reddick $ 8,200
Driver #4  $ 8,000
Driver #5  $ 7,000
Driver #6  $ 6,500

Below is a lineup that we believe can provide the best value for the Bluegreen Vacation Duel #2 at Daytona International Speedway on 02/11/2021 (DraftKings Values)

Driver #1  $ 9,700
Driver #2Kyle Busch $ 9,500
Driver #3  $ 8,900
Driver #4  $ 7,700
Driver #5  $ 6,900
Driver #6Chase Briscoe $ 6,700

Below is a lineup that we believe can provide the best value for the Bluegreen Vacations Duel # 1 and #2 at Daytona International Speedway on 02/11/2021 (Fanduel Values)

Driver #1Denny Hamlin $ 14,000
Driver #2  $ 12,000
Driver #3  $ 10,000
Driver #4Tyler Reddick $ 7,000
Driver #5  $ 6,000

*Note, Fanduel has combined both races for DFS purposes.

Denny Hamlin: In the practice rounds the Toyotas looked fast and ready for the week of racing ahead. After being the second fastest Toyota at qualifying Denny Hamlin who is a three-time winner of the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway looks like a promising pick to win this duel after a rather generous draw.

Tyler Reddick: The sophomore driver of the Number Eight Richard Childress Racing Camaro Tyler Reddick is poised to have a breakout season after his 10 top 10 finishes in 2020. Reddick did not qualify great on Wednesday but did have a top seven finish at Talladega last year. Reddick starts in 16th for Duel One, look for him to climb the field and claim some point differential points that he will most definitely deserve.

Kyle Busch: As one of the best and most streaky drivers I do not see why Kyle Busch cannot find his way into victory lane after winning the Busch Clash on Tuesday night. Busch had a very disappointing year as per his standards and I believe that 2021 will be his redemption tour. Busch has one-win and eight top-five finishes at Daytona in his career. No reason he cannot win another one after starting this race in the eighth position.

Duel #1

Joey Logano: Starting in the 11th spot is right where Joey Logano needs to be to be a blue-chip fantasy option for this race. In his career at Daytona Logano has one win, six top-five finishes, nine top 10 finishes and has led 156 laps. Logano is poised to move up the field during this race. I can just picture him leading most of the race. His car didn’t qualify well but as always with Logano, just because it doesn’t qualify well doesn’t mean the car wont race well.

Erik Jones: Having a Daytona win under his belt at such a young age is an achievement Erik Jonesshould be proud of. Jones has raced at Daytona eight times in his career and has the one win, two top-five finishes, three top 10 finishes and has led 36 laps. I like the value here for Jones as he starts in the 15th spot. His lower price tag and low starting position prime him for some place differential points as well, based on his history at Daytona a chance to race for the win.

Alex Bowman: At his current price point I think that Alex Bowman is the best: “bang for your buck” pick this week. After winning the Busch Pole Award for the Daytona 500 Wednesday night Bowman is poised to race his series fastest from qualifying to a Duel win. You don’t see value like this often. Additionally, this is Bowman’s fourth front row start at the Daytona 500 in the last four years. Hendrick motorsports has really shown out for Bowman recently to give him the fastest car possible.

Austin Cindric: The rookie Austin Cindric is in a good spot starting this race in the 10th spot. This will be his first Daytona race in the Cup Series which I am sure he is excited for. In the Xfinity Series Cindric has two top-five finishes and three top 10 finishes at Daytona. It may take Cindric a few laps to shake off his preseason rust, then he will show what he is capable of on this racecourse.

Duel #2

Chase Elliot: Last year’s Champion Chase Elliot has been quite quickly increasing his standing as a NASCAR elite. With 10 Daytona races under his belt Elliot has a second-place finish and has led 87 laps. Elliot will start fifth in Duel #2, and like I will mention with Harvick later has an excellent chance of driving to the front and never giving the lead up. Elliot started the season off on Tuesday night in the Busch Clash by starting in the very back and catapulting himself to a second-place finish. I have a feeling you will be seeing me talk about Chase Elliot a lot this year.

Kevin Harvick: There is a reason Kevin Harvick commands the high price point for Duel #2. Harvick has two wins, 10 top-five finishes, 15 top 10 finishes, and has led 262 laps in his career at Daytona. Harvick will start the race in the third position. There ill likely be plenty of options for Harvick to launch himself the front of the pack. We all know what happens more times then not when Harvick gets the front of the field. The do not call him “the closer” for no reason.

Bubba Wallace: There is a lot of hype about the new 23XI team owned by Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan and driven by Bubba Wallace. Wallace came out of the gate flying in his number 23 car in qualifying Wednesday night. Wallace will start on the front row for Duel #2 beside William Byron. Wallace has two top-five finishes at Daytona in his last six races. With a second-place finish to show off with. The car looked fast in qualifying and I think his price point is perfect for an optimal DFS lineup for this race.

William Byron: After being three-tenths of a second away from winning the Busch ole for the Daytona 500 on Wednesday, William Byron will lead the field in Duel #2 Thursday night. Byron had a real fast car in qualifying. I really like the value and price point for Byron in this race. He has raced at Daytona six times and has one win, two top-five finishes, and has led 80 laps. With the speed he showed in qualifying and his improvements year over year in the cup series there is no reason Byron cannot win Duel #2.

Chase Briscoe: I am very excited to see what rookie Chase Briscoe can do in this Number 14 Stuart Haas Racing Ford. Briscoe finished his Xfinity career in 2020 with nine wins, four more then the five-race goal that he set for himself. Briscoe may need a couple of races to adjust to the new challenges that driving in the Cup Series presents, however, his 2020 success could indicate otherwise. In the Xfinity Series Briscoe has two top five finishes at Daytona.
