We have just seven games on the slate for today with the first pitch at 6:40 PM EST. Today’s slate of games is highlighted by Francisco Lindor. and the New York Mets taking on Bryce Harper and the Philadelphia Phillies in Philadelphia.

You will want to keep an eye on the weather tonight for the Giants and Padres as there is a chance of rain all through this game in San Francisco, and there look to be high winds as well.

Here is a selection of today’s Core Players 50-50 MLB DFS lineup for 4/11/22 (using DraftKings Values)

Second BaseJean Segura$4,400

Luis Patiño ($7,800) – You are going to take on some risk with Patiño as we can’t be certain how many innings he will pitch, but his price and win potential are worth it against an Oakland team whose lineup won’t intimidate anyone. The Rays scored lots of runs against the Orioles over the weekend and they should be able to keep that going today as well.

Jean Segura($4,400) – Segura had a fantastic start to the season with hits in each of the first three games, including two home runs. This is a nice matchup again for Segura with the game in Philadelphia, and they will avoid the Mets’ top pitchers today as well.

Byron Buxton ($5,900) – When Buxton plays he is among the best players in the league and the best part about DFS is you can enjoy his work without worrying about injuries. He has three home runs in his first three games, and with the Twins at home and facing the Mariners’ 4th starter we could see another nice game from him today.

The Pitchers

Huascar Ynoa ($8,600 DK) Ynoa was solid for the Braves at home last year with a sub 3 ERA, and he held batters to a batting average below 0.200. He will face a Nationals team that has some good players but should be an average lineup overall, so getting a pitcher like Ynoa at his price could pay off.

Alex Wood ($9,200 DK) – You will have to pay up a bit for Wood, but San Francisco is a great place to pitch, and the weather won’t make the batters comfortable today either with high winds and cooler weather on the Bay.

The Value Players

Jurikson Profar ($2,400) – This seems contrarian given I just got done talking up Wood and that is who Profar will be facing, but Profar has started the season off red-hot, and with him being priced as he is, it is worth the risk using a hitter against a pitcher that you might start as a one-off.

Josh Lowe ($2,800) – People wondered why the Rays traded away Austin Meadows, but Josh Lowe is that reason. Lowe has started all three games so far for the Rays and is hitting in the middle third of the order, which should provide him plenty of RBI opportunities.

Matt Chapman ($4,000) – Chapman is a player who is going to be worth his opportunity cost. He has plenty of power, and with this game at Yankee Stadium and facing the Yankee’s fourth starter, look for Toronto to score lots of runs.

The Stacks

Toronto Blue Jays – You are going to see the Blue Jays here a lot this season. Yankee Stadium is a great place to hit, and any of the top seven batters in the lineup are worth looking at for a stack. You can look at Springer, Bichette, and Gurriel, or Guerrero, Gurriel, and Chapman, as a couple of examples.

Philadelphia Phillies – The Phillies have the highest implied run total today facing the Mets. The price on Harper is likely too high to stack with, but you should be able to do Castellanos, Hoskins, and Segura and get good value from that.

Los Angeles Angels – The Angels are another team with a high implied run total today, and they are a team that you can stack at a reasonable price too. You should be able to fit in Trout, with Anthony Rendon and Jared Walsh at a very reasonable price for three top-of-the-order bats.
