We have three games on the slate today with the first pitch at 6:40 PM EST. Today’s slate of games is highlighted by Nolan Arenado and the St. Louis Cardinals taking on Jazz Chisholm and the Miami Marlins.
We do not appear to have any rain concerns today.

Marco Gonzales ($8,000) – Gonzales is never going to be the sexiest pitcher, but he is very steady, he doesn’t typically give up a lot of runs, and he will typically get you 4-6 strikeouts per start, so if you like his chances to get the win, and today I do, he is a solid pitching choice.
Abraham Toro ($3,100) – In Toro’s last three games he has two doubles and a home run, and with the Mariners still facing the Rangers tonight we could see more fireworks from Toro.
Bryan Reynolds ($4,300) – There is a lot to like about Reynolds at this price. He has hits in all but three of his games this season, and he will be facing a Cubs team that doesn’t have great pitching.

The Pitchers
Pablo López ($9,400 DK) While López’s strikeouts are down through two starts this season, everything else is looking up with his ERA and WHIP both below one. The Cardinals are an average team, but with this game being at home that helps López’s win potential as well.
The Value Plays
Eugenio Suarez ($3,900) For under 4k you are going to get a clean-up hitter in Suarez, who has hit left-handed pitching well throughout his career, and he will face one who isn’t overly imposing in Taylor Hearns of the Rangers today.
Nico Hoerner ($3,300) – While Hoerner doesn’t get a premium lineup placement he has been a productive hitter. He has two doubles and a triple in his last four games, he just isn’t likely to hit you a home run, but at his price you don’t’ really need him to.
The Stacks
Chicago Cubs – When stacking the Cubs today, I would start with Seiya Suzuki who has been fantastic so far and add Willson Contreras to him, and the use of Nico Hoerner should free up the salary needed to get both of those players and round out your stack.
Seattle Mariners – We are going to stick with the Mariners today. We discussed Suarez and Toro, and you should be able to add Ty France and/or Jesse Winker to them to have a nice piece of their lineup.
