OK, OK, OK… I know it is too early for DFS fantasy football but what does “too early” mean to us hardcore players? It is never too early, right?

Our format at FantasyDFSExperts.com is to give you a number of our best picks based on price, value as well as who you might look to avoid in any given week along with an overview of the week so that you can create the best tickets and win big.

DFS free pick today is the one that is going to help you crush your competition in week one. Miles Sanders RB Philadelphia ($6,300 DK $6,800 FD) rushed for 818 yards averaging 4.6 yards per carry and 50 catches with 509 yards receiving last year when he was only sharing the position last year. The Eagles are taking off the training wheels for Sanders and announced that he will be number their number one running back this year. Sanders is facing The Washington Football Team, a team already in turmoil and diversity this offseason. The Washington team is an upheaval. They lost their team name, there star running back Derrius Guice who was just booted off the team for domestic violence allegations. They do not have a sure fire starting QB and their head coach Ron Rivera has been diagnosed with lymph node cancer. The Washington Football Team was the second worst team in the league in allowing rushing yards giving up a whopping 2,339 yards for the year.

Quarterback Picks for Week One NFL Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) September, 12, 2020

Matt Ryan QB Falcons ($6,700 DK $7,900 FD) I am picking Matt Ryan because last year he was in fourth in the league in passing yards per game averaging a robust  297.73 yards per game. Atlanta has added a beast in running back Todd Gurley and that will keep the safety’s honest and more in the box creating the opportunity for more big plays down field. Ryan faces the Seattle Seahawks defense which gave up 4,223 yards per game in the air the sixth most passing yards per game in 2019. Seattle added a top safety on defense in Jamal Adams in a trade from the New York Jets  but without having preseason games I think it will take time for the defense to gel. I do not see where Seattle is going to get pressure on Ryan from the edge. Seattle chose not to resign defensive end Jadeveon Clowney and I do not see a defensive end on that roster that is at his level.

Drew Brees QB Saints ($6,800 DK $8,100 FD) I expect a shootout at the O.K. Corral against Tom Brady and the Bucs. Brees led the NFL in completion percentage with a 74.3 percentage. Brees missed six games and still threw for 27 touchdowns, the fifth most in the league. The Bucs were the third worst defense in the league giving up 4,332 yards in the air during the year. In my opinion, Brees will be in the best position of any QB as far as knowing his offense and without playing any preseason games New Orleans has had the same Head coach in Sean Payton for 14 years and the same offensive coordinator in Pete Carmichael for 12 years. I believe this is a huge advantage coming into a season where there are no preseason games.

Michael Thomas : Saints ($9,000 DK, $8,800 FD) Thomas is the number one rated wide receiver for week one and he deserves that ranking. It is time to splurge . Thomas put up some PlayStation stats last year 149 catches for 1725 yards and 9 touchdowns. Thomas is going against one of the worst pass defense teams in the NFL last year in the Tampa Bay Bucs they finished ranked the third worst in the league giving up 270.1 yards per game

Who Not To Pick For NFL DFS Fantasy Week One

The running back I am not feeling this week is, believe it or not, Alvin Kamara of the New Orleans Saints ($7,200 DK $8,300 FD) Kamara is an absolute stud ,

Having finished last season with 797 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns to go along with 81 receptions for 533 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.

I am not crazy about him for this matchup because the Tampa Bay Bucs where the number one rated defense against the run in 2019 only giving up a miniscule  73.8 yards per game. We will be back on the Kamara bandwagon soon but just not this week.
