DFS NHL Fantasy Hockey Picks For 9/12/20

All of the series thus far are about as close as you can get. There are no clear winners and that means we will be seeing matchups take all seven games. We will take all of the hockey you can give us please and thank you. The Islanders routed the Lightning who were without the main man Point. When he comes back will he turn the tide? Will the Golden Knights figure out how to overpower the determined Stars? Stick with us to see who we are putting on top.

Now that we have given him a few games since his hat trick we think it is worth looking at Joel Kiviranta ($5,200 DK, $6,500 FD) again. We cautioned taking him after the replacement player came in and scored every way he could but we have had some time to watch him and we are really appreciating his game. He does not get the most minutes on ice but he is still taking shots and is even willing to take them. He generates good chances on the rink so let him generate you a few chances in fantasy as well.

Behind the paywall we have a big point generating machine for you to build and roll over your opponents with. See how we stack players together to offer you the most bang for your buck. We manage to pack a lot of value in a small budget.

Captain DFS Pick For 9/12/20

We have said it before and we will say it again, Jamie Benn ($12,300 DK, $15,500 FD) gets the job done. He scored a goal and assist in the last tilt and his goal was a thing of beauty. A little shoulder fake opened up Lehner’s five hole and Benn took the opportunity and fired it home. He added six shots on top of that for quite a performance. He is leading our squad tonight.

Flex DFS Picks For 9/12/20

Tyler Seguin ($8,800 DK, $11,500 FD) is finally picking up steam and we are jumping on that train before it leaves the station. It had been awhile since he scored a point but he did manage an assist last game. The Stars top line seems to know what it takes to beat the faster and more dominant Knights and Seguin is the top center for the job.

We have missed seeing the Alexander Radulov ($7,400 DK, $14,000 FD) of old. He was not his most dominant self in the regular season after dealing with some nagging injuries but he is fully on board in these playoffs. He is having fun and scoring goals netting the game winner in overtime two days ago. The top line is clicking and that should scare Knights fans while exciting fantasy fans.

The Stanley Cup Playoffs is an interesting time for rising stars. It offers an opportunity to grow at an unprecedented rate. The challenge and the intensity are where heroes rise to the occasion. Miro Heiskanen ($7,800 DK, $10,000 FD) has left Cale Makar and Quinn Hughes in the dust and is scoring at a record breaking pace. Like Seguin there was a little lull in the music but he will be turning it up to 11 soon.

In making a deep run one thing that every team needs is veteran leadership and Joe Pavelski ($7,600 DK, $9,000 FD) brings that in spades. He grinded for years with the San Jose Sharks and always came up short. He knows how tough this game can be and will be ready every night to give everything he has.

Avoid DFS Picks For 9/12/20

We are always looking to see if we can raise the floor for you when we are taking players but Jonathan Marchessault does not seem to have that. When he is on he is on but he tends to lean more towards bust in our books.

The weekend is here so it is time to kick back, relax, and enjoy playoff hockey. Stay safe out there.
