The big bye week has many of you scrambling in your season-long leagues, but we have got you covered in DFS this week. So, check out this week’s high-end picks, best values, and some buyer beware picks at wide receiver.
Davante Adams – ($8,900 DK, $9,000 FD) – Adams is once again the most expensive and for good reason. This week will be no different as the Packers welcome the Washington Football team to town. They rank 31st in giving up fantasy points to wide receivers. Adams has destroyed these games by averaging 28.63 fantasy points per game and is 100 percent consistent. He’s a must-start this week.
DeAndre Hopkins – BEWARE – ($7,700 DK, $8,000 FD) – His volume continues to fall. He only had four targets and three receptions last week. Luckily two of those receptions were touchdowns. That’s not going to happen every week and therefore, I don’t want to spend the money on him this week. The Cardinals are playing the Texans, who won’t put up much of a fight and therefore, won’t need Murray to throw the ball to win this game like last week. I’ll pass.

Best Value – WR – Robby Anderson – ($4,800 DK, $5,800 FD) – Everyone is down on Sam Darnold and Robby Anderson. But their last two games were against good defenses. Anderson has been targeted 11, 7, and 11 times over these past three weeks. So, if he can keep those targets, and this week, they play the Giants, that sounds like a great combination for DFS gold! Anderson has averaged 16.15 fantasy points per game when playing against a bad defense and is 100 percent consistent. Definitely get him into your lineup.
Best Mid-Value – WR – Chris Godwin – ($5,900 DK, $6,700 FD) – Godwin is one of Brady’s favorite targets and he should be even more targeted this week with Antonio Brown out. They are playing the Bears who are ranked 18th versus wide receivers. Godwin has averaged 13.57 fantasy points per game and is 83 percent consistent when playing against an average defense. I love him as a mid-value play this week.
Cooper Kupp – BEWARE – ($8,400 DK, $8,800 FD) – Cooper Kupp has been a uber stud this year. He’s still #1 in fantasy points and consistency. However, this is DFS and we need top points every week. Believe it or not, the Lions are ranked ninth in giving up fantasy points to wide receivers. Kupp averages only 9.64 fantasy points per game when playing a good defense and is only 40 percent consistent. I don’t think he’ll be that bad, but I’m not expecting a big game from him.
