We found you some great values last week at the wide receiver position. So, let’s check out the wide receivers for Week 2. We have some high-end picks, best values, and some buyer beware picks.

DeAndre Hopkins – ($8,000 DK, $8,500 FD) – Hopkins is the most expensive option for the Sunday slate as Davante Adams is playing on Monday night. Hopkins had an excellent week last week and we expected some very similar production this week as the Cardinals host the Vikings. Just in case, you need some data to back that up, Hopkins at home over the past few years has averaged almost 21 fantasy points per game and is 88 percent consistent in those matchups. Pay up if you can!

Tyler Lockett – BEWARE –  ($7,200 DK, $7,200 FD) – Lockett had a big week last week, which is exactly why he is here in the BEWARE section this week. Lockett is one of the biggest scorers in fantasy each year. The problem is that he’s so damn inconsistent, that you can’t rely on him to repeat. In fact, if you read the Mid-Value pick below (as a subscriber), you will note the historical data to prove it. Just trust me on this one, I know the match-up looks great, but don’t buy into Lockett this week.

So What Do You Get If You Subscribe Now For $199 (year)?
• You get ALL-SPORT, ALL-ACCESS to every DFS piece of content that we publish for an entire year.
• You will see my best values that could be GPP gold.

• You will see two players who we love but we are shading this week. We will explain exactly why and hope they still love us next week.

Best Value – WR – Mike Williams – ($6,100 DK, $5,600 FD) – Rarely do you see DraftKing’s salary higher for a player than FanDuel. However, in Mike Williams and D.K. Metcalf’s salary below, they are. So, you definitely want to play both of these guys on FanDuel before DraftKings. Anyways, Mike Williams had a great breakout game in Week 1 and looks like the player we thought he should have been for the past few years. This week the Chargers get the Cowboys and should have another shoot-out. I can easily see Williams match last week’s 22.2 fantasy points and is a bargain at $5,600 on FanDuel.

Best Mid-Value – WR – D.K. Metcalf – ($7,600 DK, $7,000 FD) – As I mentioned above on the Tyler Lockett section, it’s quite interesting when you look at the past game logs for Lockett and Metcalf (see below from 2020):

After every big game by Lockett, Metcalf rips off two big games and Lockett disappears. So, this is why I’m down on Lockett and high on Metcalf this week and you should be as well. Metcalf isn’t cheap on DraftKings, but he’s a solid mid-value on FanDuel for sure.

Amari Cooper – BEWARE –  ($6,800 DK, $7,800 FD) – Amari Cooper has normally been another player like Lockett who can be very inconsistent. One big game and then one or two where he disappears. This week looks like that week. After a huge game, last Thursday, the Cowboys traveling to Los Angeles and play the Chargers. Cooper’s historical consistency when playing on the road versus a top 10 defense is 11.19 fantasy points per game and only 50 percent consistency. I wouldn’t pay up for him this week.
