It may be more difficult to find a healthy receiver let alone a good value! However, there are quite a few top values and mid-values this week! Let’s check out this week’s high-end picks, best values, and some buyer beware picks at wide receiver.
Davante Adams – ($8,900 DK, $8,500 FD) – With Cooper Kupp being postponed until Tuesday, we insert Davante Adams here. Adams is playing on the road versus Baltimore. The Ravens rank 14th in giving up fantasy points to wide receivers. But no worries here. Adams shreds average defenses on the road by averaging 28.75 fantasy points per game and is 100 percent consistent in those games. He’s a must-start this week.
Deebo Samuel – BEWARE – ($8,200 DK, $8,200 FD) – Don’t get me wrong here, I love Deebo! However, his groin injury limited him to only one catch last week for 22 yards. And since he’s the second most expensive player on the slates this week, I’m going to pass even though he’s playing Atlanta. Samuel has averaged 15.08 fantasy points per game and has been 67 percent consistent and that’s fine in season-long leagues, but in DFS, the value isn’t there.

Best Value – WR – Laquan Treadwell – ($3,300 DK, $5,100 FD) – Sometimes the best values will fall into your lap and Treadwell is that receiver this week. Treadwell has been seeing quite a few targets recently and with the Jags firing their coach maybe there will be an outburst this week in the offense. He’s averaged around four catches and 60 yards the last three weeks. He almost scored a 40-yard touchdown last week. This is his week versus the Texans.
Best Mid-Value – WR – Chase Claypool – ($5,900 DK, $6,400 FD) – This week, the Steelers take on the Titans at home and need a win to stay alive in the playoff hunt. Well, good news, the Titans rank 31st in giving up fantasy points to wide receivers so far this season. Claypool has averaged 18.02 fantasy points per game and has been 67 percent consistent in those games. I love his value here this week.
