Davante Adams goes back to the top of the most expensive list. However, he needs Aaron Rodgers to return to help his value! Keep an eye on that this weekend. Let’s check out this week’s high-end picks, best values, and some buyer beware picks at wide receiver.

Davante Adams – ($7,900 DK, $8,700 FD) – Adams is back as the most expensive receiver this week on both sites. The key though is more of the return of Aaron Rodgers. There is no indication that he’s not playing, so let’s look at Adams’ value. Adams is playing at home versus the Seahawks who rank 18th in giving up fantasy points to wide receivers so far this season. Adams has averaged 18.32 fantasy points per game and is 80 percent consistent in those games. I’d say he’s worth paying up for if Rodgers plays this week.

DK Metcalf – BEWARE –  ($6,800 DK, $8,000 FD) – Here’s your weekly huge disparity between DraftKings versus FanDuel. Metcalf is the second most expensive receiver on FanDuel, but the 11thmost expensive on DraftKings. Why? Either way, Metcalf is not a great choice at any price. He gets the tough Packers pass defense which ranks sixth in giving up the fewest fantasy points to receivers this year. Metcalf has only averaged 12.63 fantasy points per game and has only been 33 percent consistent in those games. I’ll pass on him for this week.

Best Value – WR – Deonte Harris – ($4,000 DK, $5,400 FD) – Harris is dirt cheap and could provide some excellent value this week. Harris scored 11.20 fantasy points last week with eight targets against the Falcons. This week he gets the Titans defense that ranks DEAD LAST in giving up fantasy points to receivers. Harris should benefit from this matchup and meet or exceed last week’s numbers. Get him in your lineup and spend your money elsewhere.

Best Mid-Value – WR –Michael Pittman Jr. – ($6,300 DK, $7,200 FD) – Pittman has been great this year as he’s seventh in total points and has a 78 percent consistency. He’s even better against bad defenses. The Jaguars come to town and they bring their 24th ranked defense. Pittman so far this season has averaged 30.60 fantasy points against a bad defense at home and is 100 percent consistent. He’s a no-brainer start this week.

A.J. Brown – BEWARE –  ($7,800 DK, $7,600 FD) – Here’s one of the rare weeks/players where their DraftKings salary is higher than FanDuel’s. Regardless, I’m not starting Brown this week as he will battle Marshawn Lattimore all game. Lattimore is one of the few true shut-down corners in the NFL. I’ll stay away from this player this week.
