DFS NFL Tight End Picks for Week 9 – 2021

Travis Kelce DFS Pick
BALTIMORE, MD - SEPTEMBER 28: Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (87) catches a pass against Baltimore Ravens linebacker Tyus Bowser (54) during the Kansas City Chiefs game versus the Baltimore Ravens on September 28, 2020 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, MD. As always, it’s tough to find great values at the tight end position. But don’t worry, we have you covered for Week 9. So, let’s take a look at the tight ends. We have some high-end picks, best values, and some buyer beware picks.

Travis Kelce – ($7,000 DK, $7,800 FD) – Kelce’s price tag has dropped and now with many “giving up” on him, it’s a perfect time to invest. Kelce is paying against the Packers this week and will be relied on heavily in this matchup. Kelce has done well in playing at home versus an average defense as he’s averaged 16.95 fantasy points per game and has been 83 percent consistent. I would definitely pay up for him this week.

Kyle Pitts – BEWARE –  ($5,900 DK, $6,600 FD) – Pitts have been good, but not great for fantasy purposes. This week he gets a tough matchup against the Saints who rank sixth in giving up the fewest points to tight ends. This year so far, Pitts has not played against a good defense. All of his games were against average or bad defenses and against the average defenses he has averaged 8.50 fantasy points per game and is only 50 percent consistent. I’d look for better value.

Don’t Miss Out On The New Pricing! It’s Only $99 For Six Months!

• You will see my best values that could be GPP gold.

• You will see two players who we love but we are shading this week.

Best Value – TE – Marcedes Lewis – ($2,900 DK, $4,300 FD) – Sometimes you have to be pretty ballsy to win the GPP game and I have one for you this week to use. Marcedes Lewis takes over for Robert Tonyan in Green Bay this week. He was a half of a foot from a touchdown last week and Jordan Love will need a safety blanket to look to in this game. Lewis has a price tag less than $3k. That’s hard to pass up.

Best Mid-Value – TE – Tyler Conklin – ($3,000 DK, $5,200 FD) – Here’s another great bargain at tight end or flex. Conklin is only $3,000 on DraftKings. The Vikings are playing at the Ravens and the Ravens are DEAD LAST versus tight ends this year. I would definitely get either Conklin or Lewis or both in your lineups and spend up on other positions.

Overall, this week we are seeing some potentially huge values but a few people to stay away from that we normally give a full endorsement.
