DFS NFL Tight End Picks for Week 6 – 2021

Darren Waller DFS Pick
DENVER, CO - DECEMBER 29: Oakland Raiders Quarterback Derek Carr (4) completes a pass to Tight End Darren Waller (83) during a regular season game between the Denver Broncos and the visiting Oakland Raiders on December 29, 2019 at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, CO. There are some excellent values out in the Tight End world this week. So, let’s take a look at the tight ends. We have some high-end picks, best values, and some buyer beware picks.

Travis Kelce – ($7,000 DK, $8,500 FD) – Travis Kelce is back as our most expensive option this week. But is he worth paying up for? The Chiefs travel to Washington, who ranks 16th in giving up fantasy points to tight ends. Kelce has historically averaged 13.91 fantasy points per game and is 82 percent consistent. Look, this is very good, but not worth paying up for good. I’ll pass on Kelce for this week.

Darren Waller – BEWARE –  ($6,600 DK, $7,000 FD) – Waller is the second most expensive tight end on both sites. However, this week, he gets the tough Denver Broncos defense on the road. Waller has earned less than 10 fantasy points per game when playing on the road versus a good defense. Since he’s only $400 less than Kelce on DraftKings, I’m going to look somewhere else to spend my tight-end money this week.

• You will see my best values that could be GPP gold.

• You will see two players who we love but we are shading this week.

Best Value – TE – Ricky Seals-Jones – ($3,000 DK, $5,000 FD) – Last week’s best value tight end cost $4,400 on DK and $6,200 on FD. This week is a real bargain! It seems like Rickey Seals-Jones has been around forever in this league. With Logan Thomas’ injury, Ricky takes over as the new tight end for Washington. In his first game last week, he was targeted nine times. This week the high-powered Chiefs are in town and Taylor Heinicke is going to need to throw a bunch to stay in this game. The Chiefs are 29th in giving up fantasy points to tight ends this season. This is an outstanding bargain this week.

Best Mid-Value – TE – Mark Andrews – ($5,200 DK, $6,300 FD) – Andrews is a surprising mid-value bargain this week after his huge week last week. So, grab him and get him in your lineups if you can afford him. He is playing at home versus the Chargers and they rank 30th in giving up fantasy points to tight ends. Andrews has been awesome versus bad defenses at home by averaging 23.48 fantasy points per game and is 100 percent consistent. He’s definitely my pick of the week.

Overall, this week we are seeing some potentially huge values but a few people to stay away from that we normally give a full endorsement.
