Let’s take a look at the tight ends. We have some high-end picks, best values, and some buyer beware picks.
Mark Andrews – ($7,500 DK, $8,500 FD) – With both the Steelers and Ravens playing for a spot in the playoffs, there should be a ton of offense. This will help Mark Andrews score a ton of points again this week. The Steelers have been decent against tight ends this season, but Andrews is a target hog in this offense and with Tyler Huntley at quarterback, so know he will need Andrews as his security blanket.
Rob Gronkowski – BEWARE – ($6,300 DK, $7,400 FD) – Gronk is in the same boat as many top players this week. Their team doesn’t have much to play for regarding their playoff position, so they will probably rest some of the oft-injured players. In other words, they will probably bench Gronk and start Cameron Brate. Gronk is currently one of the more expensive tight ends on the slates this week, so I would stay away from him this week.

Best Value – TE – Cameron Brate – ($3,100 DK, $4,900 FD) – If you just read the section right before this, you will realize why Brate is listed as the best value this week. First off, his price tag is only $3,100. Second, Brate is the second most trusted receiver on the team after Mike Evans. So, save some cash by getting Brate into your lineups this week.
Best Mid-Value – TE – Zach Ertz – ($5,300 DK, $5,600 FD) – He’s a much better deal on FanDuel this week, but regardless Ertz has been great since joining the Cardinals this season. This week, he gets the Seahawks at home. Seattle has been pretty bad this season by ranking 25th in giving up fantasy points to tight ends. Ertz has done well when playing at home versus a bad defense by averaging 11.18 fantasy points per game and has been 80 percent consistent in those games. There’s solid value here.
Overall, this week we are seeing some potentially huge values but a few people to stay away from that we normally give a full endorsement.
