Let’s take a look at the tight ends. We have some high-end picks, best values, and some buyer beware picks.
George Kittle – ($7,500 DK, $7,800 FD) – If there was ever a week to pay up for a tight end, this is it and Kittle is your man! He is playing at home versus Atlanta and with Deebo Samuel still a little banged-up, Kittle has been picking the slack with 22 receptions and over 300 yards in the TWO GAMES! Are you kidding me?! When playing at home versus an average defense, Kittle has averaged 16.25 fantasy points per game and has been 75 percent consistent. Get him in your lineups this week!
Dawson Know – BEWARE – ($5,100 DK, $6,500 FD) – Know has certainly had a breakout season so far, but this week I would stay clear. He’s up to being the third most expensive tight end on the slates and he’s playing Carolina this week. The Panthers rank 10th in giving up the fewest fantasy points to tight ends. Know has been terrible in those game scenarios by averaging 3.40 fantasy points per game and has had zero consistency in those games. I’m out.

Best Value – TE – Brevin Jordan – ($2,800 DK, $4,900 FD) – The cupboard is bare, Mother Hubbard! But Jordan is so cheap, it’s hard not to start him if you really need to save money. He’s put up two straight Clutch Games and has been syncing well with Davis Mills. It’s risk, but a cheap one.
Best Mid-Value – TE – Mike Gesicki – ($5,000 DK, $6,200 FD) – It’s a little pricey, but Gesicki’s matchup is too good to pass up as he plays the Jets this week at home. The Jets rank 25th in giving up fantasy points to tight ends so far this year. Gesicki has averaged 11.34 fantasy points per game and had been 60 percent consistent in those games. I’d still rather pay for Kittle, but Gesicki is a good tweener!
Overall, this week we are seeing some potentially huge values but a few people to stay away from that we normally give a full endorsement.
