With Kelce off this week, we have a new top gun, at least price-wise. Is he worth it? Let’s take a look at the tight ends. We have some high-end picks, best values, and some buyer beware picks.

George Kittle – ($6,400 DK, $6,700 FD) – Kittle is the surprising most expensive tight end on both sites this week. Kittle has been hot of late but has a tough matchup this week versus the Vikings. The Vikings are fourth in giving up the fewest points to tight ends so far this season. However, Kittle has done quite well when playing at home versus a tough defense by averaging 16.23 fantasy points per game and has been 83 percent consistent. So, I’m in with Kittle this week.

Mike Gesicki – BEWARE –  ($5,300 DK, $6,200 FD) – Gesicki is still fourth in total points and yet only 55 percent consistent on the season. He’s been up and down most of the year and this week I’m expecting another down. He plays at home versus Carolina who ranks 10th in giving up the fewest fantasy points to tight ends. Gesicki has not done well in those game scenarios by averaging only 5.45 fantasy points per game and has only been 18 percent consistent. In a word, “no”.

Best Value – TE – Evan Engram – ($3,800 DK, $5,500 FD) – I’ve been burned by Engram so many times, I’m shocked I’m even putting him here. However, he’s very cheap this week and he has a great matchup versus the Eagles who rank DEAD LAST in giving up fantasy points to tight ends so far this year. Adam Trautman scored 16.80 fantasy points last week versus the Eagles. Engram is a perfect value.

Best Mid-Value – TE – Rob Gronkowski – ($4,400 DK, $6,500 FD) – Gronkowski is very cheap since he has missed so many games this year. But he’s got a great matchup this week versus the Colts in Indy. The Colts rank 27th in giving up fantasy points to tight ends so far this year. With Gronk knocking the rust off last week, this week should be a break-out week for him versus the Colts. He’s an excellent mid-range value.

Overall, this week we are seeing some potentially huge values but a few people to stay away from that we normally give a full endorsement.
