Tight ends are not easy to predict but we’ve been killing it all season! So, let’s take a look at the tight ends. We have some high-end picks, best values, and some buyer beware picks.
T.J. Hockenson – ($5,500 DK, $6,500 FD) – With Kelce not in the Sunday slate, the prices are much easier to swallow at the tight end position. Hockenson is the second most expensive on both sites and I’m fine with that. He’s playing away versus Pittsburgh who ranks 14th in giving up fantasy points to tight ends. Hockenson is such a target hog that it really doesn’t matter because he’s the only player who Goff can trust at this point. Regardless, Hockenson has averaged 12.30 fantasy points per game and has been 100 percent consistent in those matchups. So, he’s worth paying up for this week.
Kyle Pitts – BEWARE – ($5,800 DK, $6,900 FD) – Pitts is the most expensive tight end on both sites this week. This week he gets a decent matchup against the Cowboys who rank 21st in giving up fantasy points to tight ends. He has been solid when playing away versus an average defense as he has averaged 12.30 fantasy points per game and has been 1000 percent consistent. However, at his price tag, I’d look for better value.

Best Value – TE – Tyler Conklin – ($3,400 DK, $5,300 FD) – The bargains aren’t great this week, but I do like Conklin’s value this week. He has put up three straight Clutch Games and has a great matchup versus the Chargers who rank 26th in giving up fantasy points to tight ends so far this year. Conklin has averaged 9.50 fantasy points per game and is 100 percent consistent in those games. I love that value this week.
Best Mid-Value – TE – Noah Fant – ($4,300 DK, $5,700 FD) – Fant is returning from a COVID week off. The timing couldn’t be more perfect as the Broncos take on the Eagles who rank DEAD LAST in giving up fantasy points to tight ends so far this season. Fant has crushed games when playing at home versus bad defenses by averaging 20.65 fantasy points per game and has been 100 percent consistent. He’s a great value for this week.
Overall, this week we are seeing some potentially huge values but a few people to stay away from that we normally give a full endorsement.
