The running back position has been a tough one to figure out this year, but don’t worry we got you covered. Find out here as we break down the winners and losers in DFS for Week 9!

Alvin Kamara – ($8,200 DK, $9,400 FD)  – With Derrick Henry out of the picture, Kamara becomes one of the most expensive choices this week on both sites. This week he’s certainly paying up as he plays against the Falcons at home. The Falcons rank 24th against running backs this year and Kamara has crushed it when playing at home versus a bad defense. He has averaged 23.53 fantasy points per game and has been 100 percent consistent. I’d pay up this week.

Joe Mixon – BEWARE –  ($7,100 DK, $7,400 FD) – Mixon is the fifth most expensive running back this week on both slates and even though he’s playing the Browns, it’s not a great matchup. In fact, the Browns rank fifth in giving up the fewest points to running backs so far this season. Mixon has not done well when playing at home versus a good defense. He’s only averaged 12.24 fantasy points per game and is only 60 percent consistent. I’ll use my money elsewhere this week.

• You will see my best values that could be GPP gold.

• You will see two players who we love but we are shading this week. We will explain exactly why and hope they still love us next week.

Best Value – RB – Jordan Howard – ($4,600 DK, $5,700 FD) – Bargains are hard to come by, but Howard came out of nowhere last week and burst back onto the scene with 17.70 fantasy points. The Eagles are playing the Chargers this week who rank 28th in giving up fantasy points to running backs. At this price tag, you have to take a chance on him and use the money saved elsewhere.

Best Mid-Value – RB – Nick Chubb – ($6,700 DK, $7,600 FD) – It’s surprising to see Chubb down in this price level, but we’ll take it. This week, he gets the Bengals on the road. The Bengals are terrible against running backs this year by ranking 27th in giving up fantasy points. Chubb does very well when playing on the road against a bad defense by averaging 24.14 fantasy points per game and is 100 percent consistent.

Ezekiel Elliott – BEWARE –  ($7,000 DK, $8,200 FD) – I want Zeke to do better but he’s got a tough matchup this week versus the Broncos. They rank ninth in giving up the fewest fantasy points to running backs this year. Zeke has not been very consistent when playing at home versus a good defense. He has averaged 16.06 fantasy points per game and has been only 57 percent consistent in those games. I’d look for a better value this week.

Overall, this week we are seeing some potentially huge values but a few people to stay away from that we normally give a full endorsement.
