Which Week 3 running backs can win you some cash and which could burn you this week? Find out here as we break down the winners and losers in DFS for Week 3!

Dalvin Cook – ($8,400 DK, $9,500 FD) – We rolled with Dalvin Cook two weeks ago and he helped us win some cash and he’s got an even better matchup coming up this weekend. So, Cook is playing home against the Seahawks and they are DEAD LAST in fantasy points given up to running backs so far in 2021. Cook makes this matchup look even better since he’s averaging 23.58 fantasy points per game playing at home versus a bad defense. You definitely want to pay up for him if you can.

Derrick Henry – BEWARE –  ($8,600 DK, $9,700 FD) – We nailed Kamara’s downfall last week and this week we are really going to surprise you with Derrick Henry’s downfall after his huge week last week. This week Henry gets the Colts at home. The Colts are in the top 10 in the fewest fantasy points given up to running backs. Henry’s past doesn’t bode well for him as he is averaging 12.32 fantasy points per game and is only 60 percent consistent when playing at home versus a good defense. In addition, Henry is the most expensive running back on both sites. Therefore, I’ll pass.

• You get ALL-SPORT, ALL-ACCESS to every DFS piece of content that we publish for an entire year.
• You will see my best values that could be GPP gold.

• You will see two players who we love but we are shading this week. We will explain exactly why and hope they still love us next week.

Best Value – RB – Clyde Edwards-Helaire – ($4,800 DK, $6,500 FD) – I realize that CEH hasn’t necessarily set the fantasy world on fire so far, but his price on DraftKings is one of the lowest prices for a major starter. This week, he gets to play at home versus the Chargers, who last week gave up almost 200 yards rushing! The Chargers are ranked 24 in fantasy points given up to running backs. If there was ever a time to get CEH in your DK lineup, the time is now! Combine him with Cook and you’ll be good to go!

Best Mid-Value – RB – Austin Ekeler – ($7,200 DK, $7,000 FD) – In that same game that Clyde Edwards-Helaire should break-out, the Chargers have their top back in Austin Ekeler. He also is a nice value this week as the Chiefs ranked 29th in fantasy points given up to running backs. This one should be a shoot-out! Ekeler also does well when playing on the road versus a bad defense by averaging 20.27 fantasy points per game and is 86 percent consistent. He’s a great mid-value back for this week’s slate.

Nick Chubb – BEWARE –  ($7,600 DK, $7,800 FD) – Nick Chubb destroyed the Texans as we predicted and was a great value last week. This week though he has a much tougher defense to go against in the Chicago Bears. The Bears are fifth in fewest points given up to running backs so far in 2021. Chubb has not done well when playing at home versus a good defense as he only averages 11.54 fantasy points and has a 56 percent consistency rating. He is also the fourth most expensive running back on both slates. I’ll stay away from him for this week.

Overall, this week we are seeing some potentially huge values but a few people to stay away from that we normally give a full endorsement.
