Happy New Year to you and your family! So, let’s take a look at this week’s best picks at quarterback to help you win some cash for Week 17 and who to stay away from.

Josh Allen – ($8,000 DK, $8,800 FD) – Allen again this season leads the league in total points scored and he is currently the most expensive quarterback on both sites. However, he’s worth it this week as he gets the Falcons at home. The Falcons are ranked 30th in giving up fantasy points to quarterbacks so far this year. Allen has done well when playing against bad defenses at home this season by averaging 28.63 fantasy points per game and has been 75 percent consistent in those games. I’d definitely start him this week.

Justin Herbert – BEWARE – ($6,800 DK, $8,200 FD) –  Herbert has a tough matchup versus Denver this week at home. The Broncos rank third in giving up the fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks so far this year. Herbert has not done well in those game scenarios by averaging only 15.50 fantasy points per game and has been zero percent consistent. I would not play him this week at his price tag.

Best Value QB – Trey Lance – ($4,800 DK, $6,400 FD) – After Burrow’s big week last week, he’s not a great value anymore. So, we go to the backups filling in this week and see Trey Lance playing at home versus the Texans. The Texans are ranked 20th in giving up fantasy points to quarterbacks so far this season. Lance has the ability to put up big points with his arm and legs. It’s a high risk, high reward, but if you need to save money here, this is one to invest in.

Best Mid-Value QB – Jalen Hurts – ($6,600 DK, $7,900 FD) – Hurts has missed a few weeks but is back and has a great matchup this week versus the Washington Football Team. The WFT has been WTF this year as they rank DEAD LAST in giving up fantasy points to quarterbacks. This would be a great week for Hurts to repeat his performance against Washington in Week 15 where he scored 32.60 fantasy points. This is the pick I would roll with this week.

Overall, this week we are seeing some potentially huge values but a few people to stay away from that we normally give a full endorsement.
