Happy Thanksgiving to everyone as we head into the Sunday slate in Week 12. So, let’s take a look at this week’s best picks at quarterback to help you win some cash for Week 12 and who to stay away from.
Tom Brady – ($7,600 DK, $8,200 FD) – Brady and Jalen Hurts are #1 and #2 on both sites this week. They flip-flop positions from one to the other. Brady is my favorite for this week versus the Colts under the dome in Indy. The Colts rank 27th in giving up fantasy points to quarterbacks so far this year. Brady has always done well on the road versus a bad defense as he averages 29.06 fantasy points per game and has been 80 percent consistent. I would pay up for him this week.
Matthew Stafford – BEWARE – ($7,100 DK, $7,700 FD) – Stafford is the third most expensive quarterback on DraftKings this week, but he has a very tough matchup as he heads to the “frozen tundra of Lambeau Field”. The Packers are ranked as the eighth-best defense in giving up the fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks so far this season. Stafford has not played away versus a good defense yet this season but in the past, he’s only averaged 14.33 fantasy points per game and has only been 38 percent consistent in those matchups. He’s just not worth it this week.

Best Value QB – Cam Newton – ($5,600 DK, $8,000 FD) – Man, talk about a difference in opinion! Only $5,600 on DK, but $8,000 on FanDuel? So, we’re are going to start him on DraftKings this week at a great price. Last week, Cam dropped 26.16 fantasy points on a bad Washington defense. This week, Cam gets the Miami Dolphins who rank 30th in giving up fantasy points to quarterbacks. Definitely get Cam in your lineup this week before he starts cooling off again.
Best Mid-Value QB – Joe Burrow – ($6,200 DK, $7,100 FD) – Burrow is a great value this week as he battles the Steelers at home. The Steelers have not been that great versus quarterbacks, but last week, they gave up 35.28 fantasy points to Justin Herbert on the road. Joe Burrow and his trio of receiver studs are just as good and can put up a ton of points on the Steelers as well. I love Joe as a mid-range option.
BEWARE – QB – Justin Herbert – ($6,600 DK, $7,800 FD) – Herbert has been good for total points so far this season, but not good for consistency. In fact, he has gone good/bad every other week for a couple of weeks recently and after last week’s good week last week, he’s looking at a bad week this week versus the Denver Broncos in Denver this week. When playing away versus a good defense, Herbert has averaged 22.83 fantasy points per game and is only 50 percent consistent. I would stay away this week.
Overall, this week we are seeing some potentially huge values but a few people to stay away from that we normally give a full endorsement.
