DFS NFL Quarterback Picks for Week 11 – 2021

Wow, what a crazy week last week! Let’s hope this one is a little more predictable. So, let’s take a look at this week’s best picks at quarterback to help you win some cash for Week 11 and who to stay away from.

Josh Allen – ($8,100 DK, $8,800 FD) – Allen has been pretty consistent all season and is ranked third in total points, but this week could be one of his best games of the year as the Bills host the Colts. The Colts are 28th in giving up fantasy points to quarterbacks. Allen has destroyed these game scenarios when playing at home versus a bad defense by averaging 31.09 fantasy points per game and is 88 percent consistent in those games. He’s worth paying up for this week.

Lamar Jackson – BEWARE – ($8,000 DK, $8,400 FD) –  As of Wednesday this week, Lamar Jackson was sent home with an illness (not COVID allegedly). Anyways, Jackson is the second-most expensive quarterback on DraftKings and third-most on FanDuel. This week he plays in Chicago who has been decent against quarterbacks so far this season. They rank 18th. Jackson has been okay in playing on the road versus an average defense but he’s only averaging 21.10 fantasy points per game and only 70 percent consistent. That’s fine for season-long teams but not as one of the most expensive quarterbacks on the slate this week.

Best Value QB – Jimmy Garoppolo – ($5,100 DK, $7,500 FD) – Another week, and the real bargains are few and far between, especially at the quarterback position. Jimmy G does have some value this week as he’s fairly cheap and he has a great matchup this week versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags are an average defense in giving up fantasy points to quarterbacks. However, the good news is that Jimmy does very well in that game scenario by averaging 23.70 fantasy points per game. Save the money here and spend it elsewhere.

Best Mid-Value QB – Aaron Rodgers – ($7,000 DK, $7,700 FD) – We all know that Rodgers “owns” the Bears in fantasy, but he always kills the Vikings as well. There is zero love loss between them. Well, guess what, Rodgers plays the Vikings this week and has averaged 26.01 fantasy points per game and is 100% consistent in those game scenarios. He’s my favorite value this week.

BEWARE – QB – Russell Wilson – ($6,500 DK, $7,300 FD) – Wilson hasn’t been very good this season. Between injuries and inconsistency, he’s been a tough pick for most weeks anyway. This week is even tougher as the Seahawks battle the Arizona Cardinals at home. The Cards have the seventh-ranked defense in giving up the fewest points to quarterbacks so far this season. Wilson has not done well in those game scenarios by averaging 18.89 fantasy points per game and only a 50 percent consistency rating. I’ll pass on him this week.

Overall, this week we are seeing some potentially huge values but a few people to stay away from that we normally give a full endorsement.
