Welcome back. Today’s slate has nine games. The teams with the highest implied runs scored totals tonight are the White Sox, Blue Jays, and the Yankees so keep them in mind when picking players. We will keep you abreast of the juiciest matchups and make sure you know who to keep your eye on.
Today’s free pick comes from the Braves with Adam Duvall. ($3,800 on DK, $2,700 on FD). Duvall has hits in each of his last four games, and seven of his last eight. In those last four games, Duvall has hit four home runs.
Pitching DFS Picks for September 6th, 2020
We are going to look to Cleveland for pitching. Shane Bieber ($11,000 on DK, $11,800 on FD) will face a Brewers team that has struck out 27 percent of the time over the last week, while Bieber has struck out 41 batters in his last four starts while giving up just two runs.
Our second pitching choice today is Robbie Ray ($6,600 on DK, $7,300 on FD) of the Blue Jays. Ray will be facing a Boston team that in the last 30 days has been among the bottom of in the league in runs scored, batting average, and slugging percentage against left-handed pitching. In Ray’s first start for Toronto, he gave up one run, while striking out four.
Infield DFS Picks for September 6th, 2020
Wilmer Flores ($4,200 on DK, $3,000 on FD). Flores is among the best hitters of left-handed pitching in the league. In 23 games versus lefties this year he is hitting 0.316, with five home runs. With the Giants facing Alex Young of the Diamondback today, I would look to have Flores in my lineup.
The other infield play today is Ke’Bryan Hayes ($2,100 on DK, $2,600 on FD). Hayes has had a great start to his MLB career with the Pirates. In the four games he has played he has two multi-hit games and three extra-base hits. He will be facing what is likely a bullpen day from the Reds, so there should be lots of opportunities for him.
Outfield DFS Picks for September 6th, 2020
Eloy Jimenez ($4,700 on DK, $3,400 on FD) has hits in three of his last five games, and he will be facing Matt Harvey today who has given up five home runs in his last four appearances. Don’t be surprised if this game gets out of hand, and Jimenez is a big part of it.
Mookie Betts ($5,900 on DK, $4,500 on FD) has hits in each of his last nine games, and multi-hit efforts in three of these last four games, with two home runs. Betts is hot right now, and that is reflected in his price, so if you want to use him today, you’re going to have to find a value play or two to make your budget work.
