We have seven games today with the first pitch at 1:05 PM EST. Today’s slate of games is highlighted by Nick Castellanos and the Cincinnati Reds, taking on Willson Contreras and the Chicago Cubs in Chicago. The highest implied run totals tonight sit with the Kansas City Royals (5.4), Baltimore Orioles (5.3), and the New York Yankees (5.1).
We shouldn’t see any weather-related delays or postponements today with the chances of rain below 10 percent for all of today’s games.

Zack Wheeler – P ($10,100) – Wheeler’s last few starts haven’t been great, but he has otherwise been consistently good for the Phillies this year. He will also be aided today by facing a Brewers team who has the 8th worst team SLG over the last two weeks.
Javier Báez – 1B ($4,500) – In Báez’s last four games he has seven hits, with two doubles, two home runs and a steal. He will be in Washington today facing a left-handed starter in Patrick Corbin who owns an ERA over six on the year so look for Báez to have another big day today.
Jeimer Candelario – 3B ($4,500) – Candelario has eight hits in his last four games, and in those games, he has collected two doubles, a triple and a home run. We don’t often look to Tigers players but it’s a good matchup for him today.
Hunter Renfroe – OF ($4,600) – We always like Renfroe against a lefty, and he is going to be facing one today. He also has a double and a home run in his last three games so he is definitely heading in the right direction.
George Springer –OF ($4,900) – Springer seems to be hitting his stride again. He has two doubles in his last three games. With him leading off, and the Blue Jays in New York, we could see a big game today from him.

The Pitchers
Tarik Skubal ($7,800 DK) Skubal is coming off a rough start, but in his four previous starts he hadn’t given up more than two runs in those starts and he has struck out at least six batters in each of those games as well.
Sonny Gray ($9,000) – This season Gray has been very effective on the road. His ERA is nearly 2 runs less. He will face a Cubs team today who largely have a depleted lineup so this should be a good spot for Gray today.
The Value Players
Frank Schwindel – 1B ($3,300) – Over the last three games Schwindel has been red hot. He has three hits and a home run in each of those games. He is very inexpensive, and he is definitely worth taking a look at today.
Christian Vázquez – C ($3,400) – With five hits in his last three games Vazquez has been hitting well, he is inexpensive and is part of a very good Red Sox lineup.
Austin Hays – OF ($2,900) – You’re going to get Hays today for less than 3k, while he is on a 12 game hitting streak, and he has four hits in his last two games as well.
The Stacks
Baltimore Orioles – We talked about Hays, but the Orioles have some other players who have performed well against left-handed pitchers in Ryan Mountcastle and Cedric Mullins.
Kansas City Royals – The Royals are the rare case where you are going to want to pay up for their catcher, Salvador Perez. I would look to add Nicky Lopez and Whi Merrifield to round out the stack.
Boston Red Sox – We talked about Renfroe and Vázquez, and I would look to add either Alex Verdugo or Kyle Schwarber to them to give you a nice Red Sox stack
