Welcome back. Today’s main slate has six games. The teams with the highest implied runs scored totals tonight are the Yankees, Diamondbacks, and the Twins so keep them in mind when picking players. We will keep you abreast of the juiciest matchups and make sure you know who to keep your eye on.

Today’s free pick comes from the Red Sox with Michael Chavis ($3,300 on DK, $2,800 on FD). Chavis has an extra-base hit in each of his last three games. In those games, he has two doubles and two home runs. With the Red Sox expected to be among the highest-scoring teams today, getting their hottest hitter into your lineup makes a lot of sense.

Behind the paywall expect to find high value plays that are notably well priced on DraftKings and FanDuel. We have two pitchers, infielders and outfielders that we love for today’s main slate of games. And we’ve got more.

Pitching DFS Picks for September 24th, 2020

We are going to look at the Brewers for pitching. Corbin Burnes ($8,400 on DK, $10,600 on FD). Burnes has been among the best pitchers in baseball this year. In his last five starts, he has given up one run total. He is facing a Cardinals team that has struggled offensively this week with a batting average of just 0.194 and a SLG of 0.294.

Our second pitching choice today is Martin Perez ($6,700 on DK, $7,900 on FD) of the Red Sox. Perez is facing the Orioles, today, who over the last three weeks are among the worst teams in the league against left-handed pitching. They have a 0.165 batting average and a 0.247 SLG percentage against lefties. Perez hasn’t given up more than two runs in either of his last two starts and in his last start against Baltimore he gave up just one run over seven innings while striking out six.

Infield DFS Picks for September 24th, 2020

Miguel Cabrera ($2,800 on DK, $2,700 on FD) might not be the player he once was, but if the last few days are any indication he still has some gas in the tank. He has hits in each of his last three games, including two multi-hit games and two home runs. He is facing a lefty tonight, in Kris Bubic, and Miggy has a 0.375 batting average against left-handed pitching this year.

The other infield play today is Dansby Swanson ($4,600 on DK, $3,700 on FD) of the Braves. In the last five games, Swanson has hit two home runs, two doubles, and has two multi-hit games. Swanson has been among the hottest hitters in recent days for the high scoring Braves, so he can be a nice part of a Braves.

Outfield DFS Picks for September 24th, 2020

AJ Pollock ($4,900 on DK, $3,300 on FD) has hits in six of his last seven games, and he has hit home runs in two of his last three games. With the Dodgers expected to be among the highest-scoring teams tonight, getting a reasonably priced player like Pollack is a good move. Be aware though, with a shorter slate tonight, the Dodgers will likely be highly owned, so you might want to use Pollock in cash games.

Christian Yelich ($4,600 on DK, $4,200 on FD) hasn’t had a great year, but he has hit left-handed pitching. He has a 0.314 batting average with five home runs, and five doubles in just 35 games against lefties this year. He likely doesn’t see high ownership tonight with Kwang Hyun Kim going for the Cardinals, but you can use that to your advantage in GPP.
